I bought this pedal as a replacement stage tuner for my 6-string bass. It had absolutely zero problems detecting the low B string. The tuning appears to be spot on (A 440). The pedal kills the signal when tuning, with an almost inaudible click of the foot switch, even at very high volumes (1200W bass amp). There is no option to change the tuning (which I couldn't see myself really doing, though I have considered making an album in 432Hz tuning). Also the display graphics, are maybe lacking compared to some other tuners out there; however it is large and easy to read on a dimly lit stage, or in your well lit practice space. For the price, I am more than satisfied with the performance and features in this pedal. Spot on tuning, no audible pop when switching, easy to read and inexpensive.

As an "experimental/noise anti-musician artist", I love manipulating the effect pedals to create different sounds! I picked up this pedal on a whim as it received over "4 stars". When I hooked it up to my mixer and other effect pedals (24 total, including this one) and started creating the cacophony, it was some of the most beautifully excruciating sounds conjured! :-)

The three different setting of distortion goes from subtle, layered feedback to explosive, in-your-face noise! When coupled with a looper, delay, and vibrato pedals, it creates de facto beats without actually using a synthesizer, drum machine, and/or a computer program for beats!

I personally love this pedal and the damage it inflicts onto my experimental/noise anti-music! I highly recommend it for any experimental/noise artists out there to add to their powerful sound!

I got this in June and wrote a 3-star review (below). I've used it 4 or 5 times and today it stopped working. Everything is fine on bypass, but when I hit the button the sound stops. The green light still comes on, but no sound comes through. The window for returning it closed two weeks ago. Oh well.

Some annoying latency.
All the other 3-5 star reviews are on target, but my biggest complaint is with the delay, which I didn't see anyone else mention. It's not a huge delay, but there's a definite lag between when I hit the string and when the sound comes through. In bypass mode there is no delay, but if the unit is on, even on full 'dry' , there's latency that's a bit annoying.
I found the pitch control satisfactory and the controls easy enough to use. If you're new to pedals (as I am), be aware that you will have to buy a power supply separately. The product description says no adapter, but I didn't realize they meant no power supply. It doesn't even take a 9V battery.

Ok so it finally comes. I grab a new 9 volt and i discover this pedal is plug power only. So after a little searching i couldnt find a wall adapter plug to fit it at home. So off to the guitar shop i go. Got it all set up and plugged in, ready to see what it can do. Well it did nothing! Not even a sound. I will be taking this to KOHLS in the morning, they do Amazon returns. And this will be the first and last Koogo product i ever purchase. I still dont know exactly what this pedal does. Or a peep of sound. All of my other pedals work. Speaking of other pedals, i suggest spending a little more and sticking with companies like BOSS and Electro-Harmonix. I would say these Koogo products are good for deaf musicians. And thats it.

Fantastic power supply. No noise. Great format w/ the 4+4 front and back. Center Negative (mine was mislabeled- didn’t bother me at all). If you’re new to the power supply lifestyle- your pedal will draw what it needs, so if it calls for 100ma you can plug it into whatever you want as long as its 9v center negative without damaging your pedal. This one is excellent even if it was another $30. Awesome size for full size or micro boards. Will buy again if I need more power.

Responsive, accurate and 20 bucks. Maybe 5 stars for the price (if it holds up). I like the size of the display. Shows red when out and blue when in tune. Blue is not as easy to see but red shows great so you know when you're out. Square note indicator so a D is a rectangle (not a big deal). May not survive in a live setting but works for practice rig or home use which is mostly what we're doing nowadays. At that price you can buy a spare!

As far as the display goes, I guess this tuner is just okay. The bigger problem is when you click to tune and it mutes the signal to the amp, because I can hear clicking corresponding to changes in the display, along with a distorted low level of the signal that's leaking through. Maybe these are just minor aggravations, but I have a similar tuner for a similar price, and it doesn't suffer from this.
