The kit comes with two cables. One is the coiled cable which I leave connected to my computer; the other is a straight cable that I use with my cell phone. It is easier to disconnect the cable from the headphones than from the computer when I want to make phone calls.
These Koss ProDj200 (and the ProDj100) headphones have an integral stereo/mono switch. I find this very helpful since, on the mono setting, both channels of music come out of each earphone. I generally place use only one of the earphones and this makes music more enjoyable. (It horrible to listen to only one channel--"Where's the guitar solo?")
The cost has lowered since I purchased my first set of headphones.
Since purchasing the Koss ProDj200 (and earlier the Koss ProDj100), I tried other brands and found that the Koss headphones offer a very good presentation of the music played/listened to through these headphones. I listened to an album that I have been playing (in different formats) for three decades. While the Koss headphones don't have a thumping bass, the bass is easily heard and the guitar work is very easy to hear and follow. The Koss headphones present each note of a guitar lead accurately and delightfully. They are well above average. These newer, bass-enhanced headphones (by other companies) sound great on a store display but are flat and missing musical parts. The Koss ProDJ200/100 are great headphones.
I also find them very comfortable, which is a HUGE plus for me as I have a larger head (and so slightly larger than average ears). These sit just on the outer edges of my ears and isolate sound very well - and they don't get too hot, which is great. The included case is sturdy and high-quality, and the inclusion of an adapter for 1/4 in. jacks is really handy.
But, of course, in the end in all comes down to sound, and these sound excellent. At the ~$60 you can often find them for here, you won't find better headphones for my tastes (at their $200 regular price tag, there is more competition, but even there, they hold up well). Bass is deep without being overpowering (I'm looking at you, Beats), and highs come in beautifully. Great for any genera of music, videos, you name it. Koss just sounds good - they're my go-to brand, and these are no exception.
I normally see these, and in fact bought these, at a significant sale price. For the around $70 I spent, I have nothing but praise. Sturdy, mostly metal construction (including machined metal earcups). They fold well, come with 2 cables and include a semi-hard carrying case (not even my latest pair that I'm infatuated included as many or as nice accessories).
When I upgraded to these, they sounded amazing. More so after 40 hours of pink noise (known within the audio community as "burn in"). These things are detail monsters at their price point. Many people don't know this, but if you listen to Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here", you can clearly hear David Gilmore coughing and taking a deep breath right before he comes in on the guitar solo. There is a very natural sound to these. Though not exactly bassy, they have a respectable amount that is very tight and high quality. Highs are not fatiguing and bright. The mids really shine here and though forward, they are a refreshing change of pace from the usual V shaped sound signature. "Kiss from a Rose" by Seal should be required listening for these. Pair with a FiiO E6 amplifier ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HJWWW8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )and you've got yourself a quality rig.
But, now that I have some more experience, there are some reasons I had to knock off one star. First of all, these headphones claim to have "deep bass" on the package itself (though oddly enough that claim seems to be missing from the product description on Amazon). Having seen these sold in brick and mortar retail stores, I've got to say that it is a bit deceptive. They aren't bass light but their frequency response is more suited for those searching for the type of sound most audiophiles are interested in.
Second, I noticed that these have a list price of $130. As I mentioned, at around $70 these are exceptional, but at their list price I would only rate their sound as good.
These headphones have served me well for the time that they were the best I had and as such, are getting passed to my father. At the price you can regularly find them at, they are an awesome deal but at their list price, they should be placed under a bit more scrutiny.

The pros are:
-Durability: they are the longest lasting pair of headphones I've ever owned (I go through them like mad). For almost five years now, I've worn them to listen to podcasts and music in the office, while outdoors (in hot, cold, rain and snow) and at home playing video games or watching movies. I've dropped them, sat on them, got them wet, you name it and they're still going.
-Convenient: the replaceable cord is a nice feature. Unlike Sennheisers HD or Shure headphones, you don't have to a buy proprietary 3.5mm to (?) jack. You can use any ol' 3.5mm to 3.5mm patch cord from the dollar store if you're in a pinch.
-Sound: Bearing in mind that this is a personal preference issue, the sound on these is great considering the price point. In addition to the things I mentioned before, I also use these to edit Audio. The EQ is pretty flat compared to other makes and models. They're by no means tinny sounding, but they don't have crazy bumping bass. The mono-stereo switch is a nice feature, especially if you're doing the DJ thing of a cup to one ear while the other is exposed.
-Affordability: They're not the best sounding headphones I own, but for the money it's very hard to beat. If you're in the market for good headphones, this is my go-to set to buy. I've owned three pairs of the the Koss Porta-Pros and didn't like how they always got caught in my hair, and as for how good they sounded, they were not durable at all. I've also owned some Sennheiser, Audio Technica and Sony headphones in the same price range that didn't sound as good as these, and if they did, still weren't good in terms of durability and design.
The cons:
The iOS control cable is quite a pain to replace if it breaks. I tried contacting Koss to see if they make a replacement cord with mic & iOS control but they don't.
I've met a few people who have used these and don't like the ear pads. Personally I think they're fine. Luckily, you can buy replacement pads in different styles if you feel like it. I have a large head and have no comfort issues with these.
Ultimately, I think these are the standard for the ~$100 price range over-ear headphones. Sure they don't come in fancy colours and aren't the coolest looking headphones in town, but if that's your concern, you're going about buying headphones the wrong way.
Ho ascoltato musica anche con cuffie di altri marchi di alto livello ma per le mie orecchie KOSS offre una qualità eccellente a un rapporto qualità prezzo molto molto buono!
