Product Description

"Grinsia"

A family of treasure hunters hears the news that an ancient ruin has been uncovered. They creep into the ruins, where they are certain they'll discover some wonderful treasures.
But in the end, will they be successful in their hunt for the treasure?

- About the game

'Grinsia' is a fantasy RPG, with a quest involving twin Goddesses, and six pieces of treasure. The main characters are a family of treasure hunters, and they are joined by a wide range of other characters.

- A wide range of allies, and many ways to enjoy the adventure
In 'Grinsia', you can choose your allies from a wide range of characters.
When the number of characters passes a certain point, you can choose which of your allies to take with you by going to a tavern in one of the towns or villages.

Each character reacts differently to each event, so by changing the members of your party, you can play the game again and again, enjoying the different reactions of the members.

In the main story, there are characters who won't become allies, too.
Journey across the world, in search of allies!

- Night and Day

As time passes, the game changes between day and night. The appearance of towns and open land, and the way the game progresses, differ between day and night.

- Supports high-quality graphics

The beautiful graphics support high-resolution screens.

- You can select the graphics quality from the Options menu. By choosing a lower graphics quality, it is possible to make the game faster.

- Selectable controls

You can choose from two types of game control, to make the game as comfortable to play as possible. The options are touch control, and a virtual cursor pad control.

- "Treasure accessory" system

The treasure you gain has special powers, and can be used during battle. When you use a piece of treasure as an accessory, you become able to use "EX Skills."

- Supports OpenFeint

The game supports OpenFeint, with a large number of achievements to aim for!

(This app has generally been tested to work on any mobile device released in Japan. We cannot guarantee support on other devices.)

This game so far has been great on my Kindle Fire. It gives you many options like if you want high or average quality and the results you can expect. There has been no issues with it force closings and works well with or without wifi.

Retro fun! Pretty graphics, that are more detailed than their last game. Great control system, tap where you want to go, quite precise.
Save anywhere, anytime. Turn based combat, so game play doesn't require reflexes.
The equipment system shows how much an item would improve, or degrade your character as you shop.
If you like 2D turn based RPG games, this is a gem.

I am playing this on my Kindle Fire and it looks great!

It is a classic RPG, in both style and story. The interface for dealing with equipment and skills is easy to navigate and follows the regular RPG-type game interface. The battle system allows you to individually pick the skill/spell and target for each attack, or you can hit auto-attack and the characters will focus fire on one enemy, then the next, etc. Great for exploring when you only run into the usual mobs.

The only down-side so far is that I have a short-term memory. I forget what I am supposed to be doing to advance the story line, and so far, I cannot figure out how to reference that info in the menu. I end up wandering a lot, running into low level battles, auto-battling and then wandering some more.

Anyway, fun game, looks great on the Kindle Fire and I will look forward to more titles of this genre!

Took a chance on this game and was pleasantly surprised! Very charming and entertaining RPG. Those fond of turn-based games will feel right at home. A light-hearted script that doesn't take itself to seriously rounds out this game. If you can overlook the somewhat congested menu interface I'm sure you'll find something you'll enjoy.

The graphics and battle sequence takes you back to the old days of RPG, which I love, but unfortunately the story is not that interesting. Stories are what make an RPG memorable and this Grinsia's story lacks any real interest, and the characters personalities are a bit dull and boring, so I'm without a favorite character. A real shame.

Grinsia is a pretty good RPG only in comparison to what's available to android. On one hand it will satisfy all of your generic RPG cravings with ample level upping, special abilities, magic spell, and range of weapons and armor. It also offers a slightly (very slight) open ended experience allowing you to some choice of how to proceed with your adventure (dungeon order) which automatically puts it above the other RPGs I've played from this company.
On the other hand it is repetitive. It's also repetitive. Did I mention repetitive. I fairly quickly found myself curling up into a fetal position as I heard the battle start music the 1000th time as I tried futilely to figure our where I was suppose to be going. There is a system that is supposed to allow you to skip over battles that you are overpowered for but it is nowhere near enough. Then there are the dungeons. After the 10th dungeon, I found going through them more tedious than challenging. This game is long not because of a long developed story, but because there are a lot of dungeons. If that sounds like your thing then you'll have a blast.
Overall, it was an ok game. Most importantly for these android RPGs is that it will sate that RPG craving you've been having as you pine away for all of those wonderful classics that are just not ever going to be available to play on an android device. Despite my less than stellar review, I'll probably play their next game too as my RPG cravings rise again and my detailed memory of the million pointless combat encounters of this game fade.

This rpg is a lot of fun. it works great and the story is pretty good. The characters are great and you can pic four out of six of the main characters to use. This allows some replay value. Must play for rpg fans.

This is the second Kemco rpg game I've bought. The first was really good, but not spectacular, and I wasn't expecting much more from this game. I am happy to say I was very wrong. This game has the hours of play time I crave, and the quality to keep me interested. I enjoyed it so much that I repeatedly found myself playing well after I intended to be in bed for the night, and not regretting the lost sleep. The graphics were wonderful, even when the monsters got repetitive, and the characters were endearing, if a bit high strung. The boss fights were challenging at times, but quite manageable. Especially if you took twenty minutes at any single point in the game to gain a few levels, at which point the bosses become remarkably easy to overcome. There were very few times when I had money issues, and the problem was quickly solved by fighting a few more monsters. It's a bit less of a challenge than I prefer but, for the money, I was very impressed. There is even a Lemming Hero you can find and recruit to join the fight, which was delightful and bizarre all at once. Overall, a wonderful game, if a bit predictable. I DEFINITELY recommend it!
