The KoverRoos outdoor table top cover is the ultimate in furniture protection. The material, design, and construction, are simply the best on the market. Outdoor furniture covers need to breathe so that moisture can escape, keeping mold and mildew from developing under the cover. Koverroos use technologically advanced materials that are one-way breathable - so moisture can evaporate right through the fabric, but water, dust and dirt can-feett get in. Koverroos covers are stronger than most vinyl covers, yet light weight. This means our covers are easy to use - no struggling to get them on and off. Also, these patio furniture covers are able to handle temperatures from -100 degrees Fahrenheit up to +240 degrees. The KoverRoos III 26-inch Round Table Top Cover is appropriate for most weather conditions as it maintains all of the great features of Dupont Tyvek; however, KoverRoos III offers better durability, good for slightly harsher or windier climates. Lightweight and easy to put on and remove, these covers have a soft inner layer that is gentle on your furniture-feets finish. KoverRoos III patio furniture covers score 4 out of 5 in breathability, 5 out of 5 in dirt and dust protection, 5 out of 5 in mold and mildew protection, 4 out of 5 in rain protection, 3 out of 5 in durability, 4 out of 5 in ease of storage, and 4 out of 5 in color retention. The competition (PVC Coated Polyester) score 2 out of 5 in breathability, 4 out of 5 in dirt and dust protection, 2 out of 5 in mold and mildew protection, 4 out of 5 in rain protection, 3 out of 5 in durability, 2 out of 5 in ease of storage, and 2 out of 5 in color retention. This particular cover comes with a elastic attachment system in order to secure the cover in harsher weather conditions and is fitted for an outdoor table top less than 30-inch Diameter.
Top customer reviews
The table covers I'm used to are the heavy canvas type that simply drop over the table. No cinching of cords to tighten them, no exposed legs.
But I ended up buying this cover because the glass top table I purchased it for is a little smaller than most drop-on types, and I didn't want a baggy fit.
The main annoyance I have is that the cinch string that secures this cover needs to be tight. It's blown off twice now. Granted, this last time was in wind conditions about as bad as we ever see around here. And the first time it was new to me, so I'm sure I didn't cinch it enough.
But regardless, pulling the string tight is required, and as I pull it, the cover moves off center and usually one edge of the cover tries to lift itself around the edge of the table. I mean, it's not like it's a brain teaser challenge to put it on, but it's an extra little annoying step that's one step more than the other type of cover, which simply drops in place.
And then the legs are exposed, which means part of the table is unprotected from the wind-whipped elements -- but frankly, I use a table cover to (mainly) keep the surface clean.
Then there's the fact that the cover is perforated and slightly padded. It **looks** like it's a water sponge. But I've got to admit, appearances can be deceiving, and that's why I waited to write this review for after the first few rains. From what I can tell, it doesn't retain water, it doesn't get green with slimy mold, and it DOES reveal a pretty clean table top upon removal.
And who knows? Maybe that lightly padded surface will save the glass from an accidental break. Though I'm not going to test that theory.
One thing this skirtless design does do is encourage me to not remove the cover. It's almost as if I've installed a permanent tablecloth, and with nothing to block our legs, or the chairs from being tucked in, that'll remain an option. When the underlying cinch cord is pulled taut, the surface is nearly wrinkle free.
As for sizing, I believe my table is either 38 or 40 inches in diameter. I would expect using this on a table larger than 44 would result in insufficient edge overlap, making the cover difficult to secure properly, so keep that in mind when ordering.
For me, I've adjusted my expectations a little, and the cover does out what it's supposed to, though I'd probably think twice about buying another of these versus a traditional drop-on canvas-type cover.
May 2016 Cover on table over winter. Remained pliable, which is a plus. Snug fit meant it did not get blown off. Unfortunately a slit, approximately 3 inches long, appeared along the table edge. It is a clean, straight slice. Very disappointing. I will contact the manufacturer regarding this.
My advice is to place a few heavy items on the replacement, after tightening the drawstring.
We live in Florida and it rains very hard.
The cover will look wet and saturated, but underneath it will be completely dry.
The cover is very sleek and doesn't take away from the appearance of the patio furniture.
