Pretty copper color, although its really more of a dull matte than a glossy metallic leaf. I tried it on a variety of surfaces: metal, plastic, paper, and even feathers. Believe it or not, the best result was on black feathers and smooth cardstock. On metal I ended up getting a slightly pebbled texture, I think the nozzle just doesnt work for me. I know some people love the Krylon nozzle, but I find the long, thin, vertical spray difficult to be imprecise and tough to control. It's a little difficult to describe, but if you sprayed a regular can of Rustoleum on a piece of cardboard from 8 inches away, you'd make a diffused circle. If you spray the Krylon on cardboard from 8 inches away, you'd get a vertical line....not a circle.
The color is very pretty, but just know that if you handle it, your skin oils can react and dull the color. Also, if you try to clear coat it, you end up dulling the color as well. The only thing that works for me is to coat whatever I'm working on with some kind of spray-on liquid automotive wax, like Turtle Wax Express Shine. After that dries, you can clear coat your item without ruining the copper finish. Sounds weird, but it works.
