I've read these books several times- yet each time I start reading Girl With Guitar, I get sucked right back in to the world of Kylie Ryans and Trace Corbin and can't get enough. Next thing you know, it's a day later and I've read all three books again!
It's just such an addictive, fun, angsty, beautiful, and sexy story. The main characters are perfectly imperfect which just makes me love them all the more. And the secondary characters are just as amazing-- I was SO excited that this box set includes sneak peeks into the spin-off novellas featuring some of my favorites, Steven and Mia. I'm even excited for Gretchen's novella, although I wanted to punch her in the face most of this series! 😛
I recommend the Kylie Ryans series every chance I get, so I'm super excited that all 3 books are now wrapped together in one box set. Easier to gift and recommend, and easier for me to read when I go on a Kylie Ryans binge read again! 😉Get your set today! ❤️
In Girl With Guitar, Kylie Ryans moves to Nashville in hopes of making it as a country music superstar. She ends up on tour with Trace Corbin, who is country royalty himself, but has a drinking problem. Kylie has to keep Trace in line so she can make it as an artist. What I loved about this book was that Kylie was strong and independent. She knew what she wanted, and she didn't let anything or anyone stand in her way.
In Girl on Tour, Kylie and Trace are getting used to their relationship. They're in love and everything is new, and Caisey tells the tale of their triumphs and pitfalls so well, I could almost picture myself in Kylie's place. This installment has its ups, but it also has its downs. An old friend of Trace joins the tour, making it hard for him to stay on track. Kylie has trouble handling fame and all that comes with it, but she doesn't let it slow her down. Trace dealing with his alcohol addiction was so real and heartbreaking. This series just keeps getting better.
In Girl in Love, Kylie has finally made it in the world of country music. She is on top of the world, finally living her dream. But she is all alone and barely making it day-to-day after things fall apart with Trace. Just out of rehab, Trace is ready to get his music career back on track. It just so happens that he is placed on tour with Kylie. The trials and tribulations the couple go through in this book made my heart heavy. I rooted so hard for them to get their HEA, and in typical Caisey Quinn fashion, I was not disappointed. I was sad to see this series end, but Caisey did the series justice and I couldn't have hoped for a better finale.
This series has me in knots and worry, which I loved it. What is amazing about this series is that it gives the ups and downs, not everything is perfect in life. The HEA doesn't always happen and you have to work at it. What is amazing this book deals with the struggles and triggers with addiction. Thank you Caisey Quinn for writing a book that makes one ponder what can happen with addiction and how families deal with it.
