like some capos I've had in the past. The Kyser capo will work with any electric guitar, I use it with my Fender Telecaster
placing it on the second fret and also, moving down to the fourth fret depending on which Rolling Stones, Keith Richards
songs I'm playing at the time. With Just one hand, I easily make the switch between frets without having to retune. Works great every time. The strings ring out clear without sounding muffled like some other capos I had. I've also used it on my
Gibson SG and also get the same great results. Now I can play open chords anywhere along the fret board that I choose
to move the capo to. Can't go wrong with this capo, and the back of the guitar neck won't get marred or scratched, thanks
to the thick pad. The part of the capo that goes over the strings covers all six strings easily with hard rubber pad that
won't damage the fret board while holding down the strings firmly without shifting the string spacing or stretching the strings out of tune. Best capo I ever owned! And the price can't be beat!
Something that you need to pay attention to is that this is designed specifically for an electric guitar, and will not work properly in the long-term if all used for acoustic guitar (and vise-versa with capos designed for acoustic guitars); there is typically much greater tension on an acoustic guitar's strings and this capo will not have the strength it needs to properly clamp the strings. Furthermore, the higher (thicker) gauge of acoustic strings will wear through the rubber and bring it's life to a quicker end than necessary. If you need a capo for both electric and acoustic, you're going to need to buy one for both or you're going to be replacing the one a lot more often. Kyser also makes capos for acoustic guitars that have thicker rubber for the clamp, and much greater tension.
a super job. The Kyser capo was just as described. Another pleased customer!
This thin design is more characteristic of its application on an electric guitar. It does not need to have the jaws of steel and heavy duty to pin down the action on an electric.
This review is 2 weeks out from me starting to use it. So far, so good. Happy, happy, happy.

Item was exactly as described. Worked well, shipped quickly, no issues.Published 2 months ago by Drodge
This capo is okay. Be careful as it puts a lot of tension on your neck. It presses down so hard that it can wear your frets after time. I use a G7th now which I like much better.Published 7 months ago by Adam Felix
Another good Kyser capo! I just wish this one came in other colors than black.Published 8 months ago by Philip Jerominski
These work great. They're easy to put on, take off, slide up or down the neck while playing and store on the headpiece. Read morePublished 14 months ago by Amazon Customer
