I received this back in Sept. it was difficult to open everything and confusing. The garbage the packaging created is just not smart.
When I dress OMG Dolls I pop off their hands to make dressing them easier. Their hands are usually made to do this. However, the blond haired dolls hand came completely off the hinge when I tried to remove the hand. There was no way to reattach it. I see from other reviews that others have had this same issue with this same exact omg doll so it is obviously a defective doll. I’m an adult collector and this happened right as I got it out of the package. I super glued the hand because Amazon does not offer replacement items. I did not want to return the entire set it is heavy large and takes a long time to open. Plus that is a waste for just one doll. So I super glued the hand but it did not hold. So in Nov I contacted MGA. I did not even know about the warranty until I was reading about it on a review on here. They stated on their site that they had an extended holiday return window until Jan 2021. I did not receive a reply. So I figured it was due to busy holidays and I waited until March to resubmit my warranty claim. They then responded and said I wasn’t within the warranty. I called and told them that I had submitted my claim in Nov and was told to resubmit my pics in an email. So I did this and received a response that I wasn’t in the return warranty window and that because the hand was super glued I could not get a replacement. The super glue was so that I would not lose the hand. Even though they did have an extended holiday warranty. The company offered me nothing but excuses for their defective product. These dolls are so rushed into production that there are numerous flaws and defective dolls and they will not stand by their products.
At the VERY least if they would have answered me back in Nov and denied the claim THEN I would have known I would have had to return the entire set to Amazon. But I did not receive a reply. I thought they were busy and took a long time to get through all requests. Plus COVID has slowed things down so much. So I’m out of the return window for Amazon now. I really did think that MGA would be a good company and stand by their customers and products. I really expected them to replace the doll. I have bought so much from them. They make SO much money! But apparently every penny counts with this company. They seem to forget that customers are the ones paying this money.
So if you are filing for a warranty through them do not expect them to stand by their product. Be sure to file within 30 days regardless of what their holiday return policy says. If their product is broken let it stay broken do not try to reattach anything even for it not to get lost. The less chance they have for excuses the better. Although I’m sure they will have other excuses for other issues. I’ve heard from others that they have an excuse for everything so as not to give out a replacement.
They make billions so a $20 replacement doll would not have hurt them. You can see a pic here of the hand I super glued. I’m hesitant to buy MGA products in the future because of poor customer service. I won’t forget how I was treated.

The green doll has a plastic green jacket with teeny tiny little sequins glued onto it, and unfortunately they easily come off. Just trying to get the jacket on her and fold the front properly before even getting her drum holster on, 8 of them popped off, a couple fell into the trashcan so I ended up just taking off the jacket because it was so delicate. The pink one has a stiff black and silver jacket with puffy sleeves that was also a bit hard to get on and looks a little funny when posing her, but that's manageable. If it wasn't for the green jacket though, I think this would have gotten five stars, because even though it took forever to get through all the excess paper and put the dolls together which overall is unnecessary and frustrating not just for collectors but more so for kids, this set is, to me, still completely worth it because the styles are right up my alley.
Each doll has her own instrument that has multiple buttons that when pressed plays different notes and music which is a nice touch, but they're a bit loud so some parents might not be too happy if their kids are button happy, but personally I don't feel like this set is very child friendly, being how delicate parts of their outfits are, and one of the baby dolls is completely COVERED in glitter.
I still wish they'd reduce how much waste it causes, filled up one and a half full sized trash bags with just the waste from this, and that's just too much.
Gorgeous but with flaws. NOT FOR KIDS.

Found at Target. As a collector these are absolutely freaking cool and beautiful but getting into the packaging and actually putting the dolls together was actually kind of frustrating and seriously time consuming. Having nearly every single piece of clothing, instruments and even the clothing pieces of the babies all individually wrapped in paper, in boxes and hidden behind more thick paper seems like a HUGE waste, I feel like these dolls would have actually been a bit cheaper without all the extra waste. So I bought this as my daughters big Santa gift, as, like most little girls, she is obsessed with LOL. She has sat down to open it all - bit by bit - only to have two dolls completely defect. Neither one of them is 'broken'as in snapped or anything but the OMG has only one hand and no way of joining it on and the little sister's arms and legs are on backwards!! I now have an incredibly confused and sad little firl that is wondering why santa didn't want to make her toy properly and no way of contacting amazon as the returns option doesnt allow for me to ask for a partial refund for these broken toys or to offer in some way to rectify this! These toys are expensive, and that is fine, but I do not expect them to be broken and see my autistic child devastated because of this. We love LOL and this is the first time I have been disappointed with an MGA product - please help Amazon??
