I recently started collecting pens and pencils again and picked this one up based on some web reviews.
I like it, but I don't love it.
There is a seam in the shaft of the pencil where it screws apart. This is part of the black shaft, not where the metal end meets the shaft. It does not join together perfectly and the feel of the seam in my hand I find somewhat bothersome.
Also the clip wiggles a little bit. As does the tip where the led comes out. It doesn't move around a ton, but it moves enough that it does not feel well constructed or "perfectly engineered" the way some of my other pencils do.
Incidentally I purchased the Lamy 2000 pen at the same time:
Lamy 2000 Ball Point Pen Stainless Steel Clip - Black/Brushed
Then pen does not have the same seam and I like it much better.
The weight of the pencil on the other hand is remarkable. It is very light which feels really nice.
It's ok and I am going to keep it, but I had higher hopes for the pencil especially given the price.
