I bought this when Amazon was out of the brand I usually buy,

The initial LD laser toner cartridge arrived promptly and it was well-packaged. At first glance, it looked nearly identical to the Canon brand cartridges and EPS cartridges I've used for years. But, when I put the LD cartridge into my Canon LBP 62300d printer, the printer ran & ran & ran, on its own, and didn't stop.
I removed the cartridge and studied it more closely. I saw one significant difference between my old cartridge and the LD one, and - on closer inspection - it looked like a defect. So, I contacted the seller via Amazon.
I received a response within an hour. It was a form letter, so I replied a photo showing both cartridges - with arrows pointing to what I suspected was defective.
The second reply came within a couple of hours, and LD's customer support was very helpful. They agreed it was probably a defect.
Fast-forward to today - less than 48 hours later - and I have the replacement cartridge from LD. It was delivered to my door.
Looking closely at this replacement cartridge, I can see that my guess was correct: The first cartridge was defective. I'm pretty sure it was just a fluke in manufacturing; it's not something I'm likely to encounter again in the future.
I've installed the newest cartridge in my Canon printer. It ran a little longer than usual, maybe 30 seconds instead of 15, as it adjusted to the new cartridge. Since that process completed, my printer has been running smoothly. I've tested it with several print jobs, some more tricky than others. All the printed pages have uniform ink coverage, and just the right light-to-dark balance.
I'm impressed.
Based on this experience and especially the fast, easy replacement process (thanks to LD Customer Service), I'll buy LD laser toner cartridges in the future, without hesitation.
