This is one of the better designed legos sets that I've seen. Sturdy construction. He's had it for about a month now, plays with it every day, and it still has all of it's pieces!
At the beginning, you have no idea how this thing is going to turn into an AT-TE, but towards the end of the build it all comes together! Very cool looking clone walker when you're done.
It has a ton of pieces, but my son was able to build it in one night. I helped, but that's more because he wanted me to than because he actually needed it. Very good instructions.
It was also really nice how they made the side walls open up so that he could take his figures in and out. All inner spaces are easily accessible from the outside. Lots of moving parts helps keep it interesting for him to play with. It even comes with a carrying handle so my son can carry it around without fear of braking it. For an added touch, they put extra rockets under the rocket launcher. It seems like the Legos engineers thought of everything with this one. Lastly, the majority of the pieces are actually reusable. I hate it when Legos makes a Lego set that can only be built one way. Not so with this one, endless possibilities here.
Putting this thing together made me feel like a kid again (in case you're wondering, I'm 32). Now I can feel myself gravitating some of the more complex Star Wars sets. Super Star Destroyer, please?
Like all Lego creations it was a little delicate for rowdy play, but as we always say in our house, "the best thing about Legos is that when they break, you can fix them."
The Lego Star Wars line, one of their longest-running series, continues to produce exciting and intricate builds for both Lego-heads and sci-fi fans. Now if I can just talk my son out of wanting this ridiculously expensive LEGO Star Wars Death Star (10188).
The lego set took about 2 hours to build for my boyfriend, while watching a movie. He loved it!
The instructions are really clear and easy to follow, as Lego manuals usually are. There are a lot of pieces to this one (794 to be exact), so it takes some time, but it ends up really cool when finished. Happy building!

God I seriously loved having this set when I bought it, but I bought mine about a year ago. I decided to write this review mostly because of the pricing that it now has. Read morePublished 1 month ago by pennamegoeshere

It's a great set but the priced is getting out of control all the way up to $170. Lego should really lower it like when it was on sale for only $90.Published 4 months ago by P. Vin
