To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Make sure you put that this is a gift. They put the label right on the box and delivered it like that! Luckily I noticed it before my son went out but the also ruined the box.
This will be our 9th Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar, one for each Christmas since my oldest was born. There is just enough variety each year to make them fun and a good mix of people/ships/misc figures. We love the simplicity of these and the oldest three take turns putting them together leading up to the big day. It's a nice set that has a reward that isn't candy but of course looks a little non traditional next to our nativity scene.
Unfortunately next year the littlest will be old enough to start participating so their turns will reduce from 8 to 6. This change will most likely cause a family civil war. The oldest has already had turns reduced from 24 to 8 and now to see the loss of an additional 2 turns may set her over the edge. She'll likely collaborate with the baby as he's easily manipulated by his oldest sister. The middle two are super close in age and already have been conspiring to take over the world (think Pinky and the Brain). I'm pretty sure if a skirmish breaks out they would win, likely at the expense of the house and local fire department. I'm sending grandma and grandpa in to negotiate, but I'm afraid there is no amount of hard candy that will resolve this situation.
We just opened day 7 only to find an empty plastic wrapper(red storm trooper). I opened up the box to see if anything else was missing and sure thing another missing piece with just a plastic wrapper white storm trooper. This is so strange, neither of these mini figures are rare and why leave the garbage? I checked the tape seals and they did not seem tampered with at all before i opened it. A very very strange thing. I'm not even mad as i have tons of stormtroopers. If they had taken the Christmas sweater Darth Vader i would be very sad. If anybody else has experienced anything similar please respond if you know why. Thanks

My husband's birthday is in October. He's a huge Star Wars fan. I look forward to gifting this to him each year and to seeing how Lego adds Christmas to Star Wars! ☺
For some reason my fourth grader son was following us around with the lego catalog and was really interested in this. more amazing is that he convinced my wife to order it. of course the entire advent calendar concept went out the window. no delayed gratification here. He and my first grader daughters tore into it and have been enjoying them. well, mostly they are trading back and forth, but seem really happy with them all. they have retained the packaging for storing them and/or other lego parts.

May be a bit on the pricey side, but it is Lego and Star wars. I brought this advent calendar for my friends 10 year old grandson, who is a Lego and Star wars fan. The calendar has brought a lot of happiness in the count down to Christmas. He could not wait for the first of December, because that meant, he could get started ,on opening the advent calendar. First thing in the morning, after he's up and dressed, its straight to the kitchen , to open that days door , and make the Star wars toy. In fact this is the fourth year in a row, that I've brought him a Lego Star wars advent calendar. He still has all the Lego Star wars toys from the others. So I fill that it is, money well spent, for the joy and happiness it brings.

Brought this as advent calendar this year as I didn't fancy chocolate or sweets, and it was awesome to build the small star wars lego figures, definitely will be buying another lego star wars advent calendar next year

I was a bit skeptical over the idea of a Star Wars Advent calendar - it seemed expensive and lacking sense (since those are tiny figurines with no "further" lego use). Well, I changed my mind after day 5.
The calendar is very well packed. Inside, it is separated by a think foam material - enough to protect toys during transportation and deep enough not to mix toys among each other inside the box. Toys are small yet good quality. Some "days" have extra details (not sure why but neat). The inside part of each "door" contains assembly instructions. The only two drawbacks I find is that (1) the instructions may be too small to read or are uncomfortably rotated, (2) each toy is packed in a plastic bag (while it makes sense to keep details together, it is not very environmentally friendly).
Nevertheless, definitely recommend it for yourself or as a gift.

really disappointed in the shipping quality of this item. simply tossed in a plastic bag for shipping. no protection. the box is quite damaged. the top for has 2 doors completely bent open and 3 more semi open. while my son is still excited to open the advent calender it doesn't seem "new" . definitely not exciting to get something so heavily damaged in the mail.

My box was opened and dented. The calendar opens at the side, which opens to all the different days. Now I can open it and see them all, but I don't know if I am missing pieces or if there is anything else missing since it is not enclosed/sealed for each day. So now I won't know if I am missing pieces or if I am missing thing entirely.
