Worth EVERY PENNY... The Hogwarts castle is AMAZING! My 6 year old daughter and I assembled the entire castle on Christmas day and played with the 11 characters included in the set for HOURS. Thankfully, the little Lego characters are the first things you are instructed to assemble, so if my daughter's interest in assembling the castle walls started to flag, she could have creative fun with the various little Harry Potter characters. If you are a fan of the books or movies, you will love the tiny hidden details in this kit (especially the Basalisk fangs hidden in Dumbledor's office, the invisibility cloak, the sorcerer's stone, the sword of Gryffindor, etc.). My daughter plays with the castle again and again, making new scenarios and stories for the whole Harry Potter gang. This set has been fun for the whole family! This was our first Lego purchase ever, and we're so happy that we're looking forward to adding to the collection. Now I also want to get a "general" lego set so that we can get creative and design our own things.

We got the caretakers cat, his lantern, Harry's invisibility cloak, Harry's broom, wands, owls, the sorting hat, etc. The stained glass windows and Dumbledores's staircase is realistic. The locked library cabinet complete with books is neat.

Our HP fan put the 1000+ piece kit together in 2 hours b/c it was easy to do with the three instuction booklets and sorting of the parts in 10 different bags. Just watch that you don't confuse bag 6 with bag 9!

I would buy again and recommend to Hogwarts fans!

The latest iteration of the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts castle is a fun one! The building are modular, in that they can be connected in different ways, and can even be combined with LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts 4867, though you'll need an extra connecting module or two.

The set itself is full of fun little details, from Sirius Black's face in the fireplace, to a forbidden section in the library that can be opened with a turn of the key. Every inch of space is jam packed with little details, and is a great set for collectors. There's not much room for actual play inside the rooms, but it's a tremendous display piece. The set also comes loaded with mini-figures, along with a nice-looking cloak of invisibility.

Instructions are clear and bags are labeled, so the construction of this set took an adult less than two hours.

The is really an AMAZING lego set. My son loves it. There are soooo many little details from the movie. The set is quite large. You can also spread out the build and only do one building section at a time. Each room has fun little details, the dining hall has a full turkey feast, Professor Dumbledoor's room has a working magnifying glass, there are lots of secret compartments. Fun for Potter fans and everyone else. I only wish that it had a Ron Weasley mini figure. It has Harry and Hermione and feels a little like he's missing but that is small thing.

I have never had an order arrive in worse condition. When you pay more than $100 for a toy that's listed as "New", you expect it to be in good condition. Even if this product was Used, I would still want my money back, based on the condition it arrived.

First of all, the set arrived in its original product box (no extra packaging), so it was sitting on the front door step for everyone to see (it's a christmas gift). The box itself looked like someone had beat it with a baseball bat; the corners were knocked in, and there were dents all over the box. On the seams you could see the box had been opened and re-taped. As far as the contents go, I didn't even open it. I'm going to return it in the exact same condition it arrived. This order was fulfilled by Amazon. I'm seriously in disbelief!

I bought this as I love Harry Potter and this was at an exellent price. Other retailers were pricing this at £102.99, so was thrilled to find It £20 cheaper on Amazon.

This comes in a Amazon box with lots of brown wrapping and was thrilled to explore what was inside as I bought The Burrow, Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Castle, Battle for Hogwarts and the Hogwarts Express at such a great price.

The Castle its self is very durable and was hours of fun! It is split up into different rooms such as the Great Hall, the astronomy tower, Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms and Dumbledore's office. The detail in each is fantastic!

The Castle comes with connectors so It can all be joined up together. This is a new and useful feature.

Now for the minifigures. This set comes with 10 finely detailed minifigures. These are: Voldemort, Dementors (x2) Snape, Mcgonagall, Flitwick, Filch and his cat, Dumbledore, Hermoine and Harry. Each has their unique feature.

Well done Lego! A fantastic Castle with lots of detail. Lego have improved this over the years and really have got it right! As in previous sets, the figures are yellow. In the new sets the colour is perfect and the bricks are higher quality!

Well done Amazon for a great price and speedy delivery!

Would highly recommend! Get It while the price is low! It will go up soon!
