WOW! Really great game. I buy the lego games to play with my 5 year old. So this review is for the game being played that way. We are about 45% complete. I like the improvements over the other lego games. The hint system seems better and gives us hints where in previous games I had to look up gameplay guides. Also we loved the amount of characters before but now there are even more! Lots of content, really good variety. And of course the graphics are great. Just wanted to review on how we play and what we like since I saw there were no reviews yet.

FUN.

I've played several different Lego games across Nintendo, IOS, and PS3 platforms and this is, by far, my favorite. The characters are a blast to take control of and the story is wonderful.

This game looks amazing on Xbox One. Colors are brighter than bright.

This is a fun game for players of any age. I'm not even upset that I bought it on launch day and paid $59 when it's listed for $39 here.

Who said Legos were for kids? I've been loving every minute of all the Lego games and this is no exception. Great story with great and easy controls for when my nephew comes over and steals it from me.

I have played all the Lego games and this one is great!! I'm a 42 yr old female gamer and love the game.
The graphics on the Xbox one are super bright and it looks great. Tried demo on 360 and this game on the One is worth the 60 I paid on launch day: no regrets of the price drop!
I would recommend this game to anyone of age who enjoys the Lego series.
They have lots of the characters and the humor is funny.
You will not regret buying this game!! Great start for the Xbox One!

Before I start, I have to admit that I'm absolutely RUBBISH at this game! It's supposed to be full of relatively simple puzzles that most people can work out by trial and error with the different characters. However, half the time, I just don't see what I'm supposed to do. However, crucially, my partner will often look at the screen and say off-handedly 'Why don't you try pressing that button', 'Move over there', or the like and I'll solve the problem. This indicates to me that this is MY problem, not a fault with the game.

The game looks absolutely gorgeous though and plays perfectly. My favorite thing though is that it is an absolutely loving homage to the Marvel universe, whoever created this knows these characters inside out, and it is also sometimes laugh out loud funny. I haven't got to the end yet, somehow, I expect my limited abilities might make that take quite some time, but I'm having a lot of fun, and at the end of the day, that's what a game is meant to be.

Great stuff!

We love the Lego games, they are well built and offer lots of play value with extensive levels and content as well group play. This and the batman version are better than the lego movie game. Great additional to a Lego fan or preteen gamer collection, and adults will like it too.

I'll be honest. While this game looked interesting to me, one of the main reasons my wife and I decided to purchase it was we simply wanted more games to play on our Xbox One. This is the first LEGO game we've ever purchased and it was well worth the money. The sheer number of characters you can play as is astounding. It keeps you interested in the game. And although my son is too young to play it right now (he's only one), he sure does get a kick out of watching us play.

This was the first LEGO game we ever purchased but it won't be the last.

Collect lego coins. Button mash. Get stuck with convoluted "puzzle" that would have been easy to solve if you didn't have to guess how stuff works before they tell you. Google answer to "puzzle." Search YouTube for video because text answer didn't make sense. Watch video, think you're dumb, then realize the game didn't explain how to actually do anything to solve the puzzle before you did the puzzle. Realize you just spend an hour on one stage, ten minutes mashing buttons and collecting coins and 50 minutes trying to find an answer to the puzzle. From there's it's a choose-your-own-adventure. Either repeat or move on to a game that isn't so tedious.
