I purchased this ice tray to use as a mold to make little chocolate lego men to add to the Lego cake I made for my son's birthday, and it turned out great. I wish the mold was larger so that you can make more at on time, but it worked perfect for what I was using it for.

This ice cube tray is tiny. TINY. Similar in size to a 5x7" photo. With only eight indentations, don't expect high ice production. However; if you go in understanding these limitations, the product is simply irresistible. Made of durable silicone, it creates adorable and detailed minifig-shaped ice cubes (and chocolates!)

I used this mold for cake and cupcake toppers and the kids loved them! White or regular choclate. Candy bark works great too! It is a small mold but really easy to use. Bigger lego men would be too much to eat and weird anyway. Works great for ice cubes too and home made popsicles. We will use this for years.

I ordered two and each one came without any cardboard packaging from LEGO (as shown by seller), but instead each one was simply inside a ziploc bag. I have to wonder if they're even new and unused, which is an unpleasant thought considering I'm planning to use these to make food and ice. Some sellers show just a blue tray with no packaging and therefore no promise of an unused LEGO product, but some sellers (including this listing) are showing a lighter blue tray with LEGO cardboard packaging and a LEGO logo imprinted on the tray itself. I paid a couple of dollars extra to get the one with the LEGO branding and packaging, but what arrived from the seller was the darker blue knockoff tray with no branding and no packaging (aside from the ziploc bags they were in). I informed Amazon and they credited me the extra money based on the seller not showing the same product they sent. I don't mind making an informed choice to buy a knockoff, but whatever choice I make, I expect to receive exactly what's shown, unless otherwise stated. In this case, I did not.

I received the LEGO minifigure mold which was described as being by LEGO. It was not in the original LEGO packaging which surprised me since it was described as new. I compared it to the LEGO minifigure mold that I already owned, and noticed that it did not have the LEGO logo on it, the color of the mold was slightly different, and the size of the minifigure head was slightly larger. This is not a LEGO original mold as best as I can tell from these observations. The product still looks good, and I expect it will work well. In fact, I think the larger head will be superior to my LEGO produced mold. I wish the seller had disclosed this information.

I will update my feedback once I make items with the mold if it produces different results from my other LEGO mold.

The Lego ice cube tray worked out perfectly for the Lego themed cake I made for my son's 1st Birthday! Instead of making ice cubes (which would be very small ice cubes-these are the size of actual Lego men) I used the mold to make candy. Pouring candy and chocolate into the mold was not an easy task but with a steady hand and some patience it got easier and easier with each batch! I had a lot of fun with this mold and everyone LOVED how real the candy looked. The mold cleaned very easily and I've already had several people ask me to make them some candies!!

I was able to use these for Chocolate for my sons 7th birthday! I put them on top of chocolate cupcakes and white frosting! They were awesome. I then used them for melted crayon party favors. I melted the wax and poured into the molds. These were an awesome party favor!
