Take part in an epic, ninja-themed battle between good and evil with the LEGO Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle. Inspired by the popular Ninjago TV show, this enormous set transports builders to a world filled with brave ninjas, mythical dragons, and giant serpents. The set includes eight minifigures and several pieces that can't be found anywhere else, making it an essential choice for any avid LEGO collector. And with over 900 pieces, it provides a healthy challenge for builders of all skill levels.
Enormous LEGO Set with Plenty of Interactive Parts
With over 900 pieces, the Epic Dragon Battle set is one of the largest Ninjago sets ever created. The centerpiece of the set is the Ultra Dragon--a massive, feathered dragon that can launch a green "zamor" sphere from each of its four heads.
The set also contains pieces for the giant Great Devourer serpent, whose snapping jaws and moveable body are more than a match for the Ultra Dragon. Kids can also cage minifigures in the Serpentine prison, which features a hidden snake venom trap.
Mythical Setting Encourages Imaginative Play
The Epic Dragon Battle isn't any ordinary LEGO set; it has its own narrative that ties in with the Ninjago TV series. The set pits the heroic Ninjago ninjas against the legendary Great Devourer serpent in an epic battle between good and evil.
Kids familiar with the Ninjago TV show will especially enjoy role-playing with the eight included minifigures. The minifigures are modeled after some of the show's most popular characters, including the wise Sensei Wu and the spirited, cheerful Jay.
An Enjoyable, Challenging Assembly
Building the set is as fun as it is challenging. Parents should be aware that assembling the Epic Dragon Battle requires some degree of finesse: many of the pieces are small and may prove too tricky for little fingers to attach. Younger Ninjago fans might be better off with one of the smaller, simpler Ninjago sets.
The set should provide a stimulating experience for older builders. The set's many pieces give LEGO enthusiasts plenty of room to experiment with their own, custom creations.

This set is 120$ but only has 915 pieces. That makes each piece about 13 cents which isn't bad for a LEGO set. Once everything is finished you have so much to play with. Everything is really big, like the dragon. 8/10
As with all LEGO this develops a child's motor skills. It will show them how to follow directions and build. Also the dragon, snake, and ninjas might make them want to research them and ancient China. 7/10
I haven't exactly played with this thing but from carrying them around and moving them I can say they are pretty strong. The dragon has a holding mechanism that makes it easy to be carried. 8/10
LEGO always makes sure their sets have play functions. In this one the dragon shoots balls from its mouths, its wings also flap, and its tail swings around. The Great Devourer (Snake)can fit a whole mini-figure in it's mouth. I was a little disappointed because only about half of it moves(The tail) the rest you cant move.
The prison is fun. There are a lot of secret opening doors. The gate lifts up and down. Also there is a mechanism that drops snake venom on Sensi Wu. 8/10
It includes three serpentine who have awesome tails and heads, Garmadon with all the golden weapons and four arms, Jay Zx, Lloyd ZX, and sensei wu. The snake tails are really long and cool looking. Jay and Lloyd have sword holders on their backs that can hold two swords! There are many details on them. Also this is the only set so far to have Lloyd Zx so that's great. Also all of them have cool weapons. 8/10
This is a really awesome toy you should defiantly get.
THE GREAT DEVOURER
The "Great Devourer" is amazing! The Mouth opens and closes, and it can move; its just plain cool!
THE GREEN NINJA
He is really cool! He has a gold sword (as you might have noticed in the picture) and can swing it at high (well, high speeds for a Lego guy) speeds, and can run really fast!
Funny! When I first saw him on the box, I laughed at his beard so hard that I cried.
May be a little hard to get a mini-figure to sit on its head, but other than that, it's great!
How did they do that? How did they manage to stack two bodies on top of each other? A bit confusing, but great!
Nice!!! They really can have a venom drop, and the gold snakes are amazing!!!
Jay is really cool! I love his helmet.
Really great! I just love the tails.
Amazing! The legs can't move, but that's normal!
As you can see, it is a really awesome set. maybe little bit overpriced, but really worth it!
