I'm really happy with the overall outcome of the kit. The detailed instructions made putting it together simple, and the final product looks pretty good. I spent 3 evenings working on it, but I really wasn't rushing at all. Certainly this could be built in a night or two.
There are a few nits I want to focus on. The hull is composed of 4 large sections clamped onto a central spine. The first two hull sections went onto the axis easily enough. The last 2 sections were a bit of a chore though. Space was getting limited, and it was hard to snap them into place without knocking something off of one of the already-attached sections. Also, the nature of the design means the hull shifts around a LOT when you handle the finished ship. The engines fall off if you even look at them funny. I'll be gluing them into place.
Beyond those nits, everything else is great. Most importantly, I had a lot of fun putting it together.
