2 Switches Under the Motion Sensor

Two push button switch under the motion sensor head to adjust the time and sensitivity range to customize your need.

i. Time: 30S, 60S, 120S and Test (only 5-6 seconds for test only).

ii. Sensitivity / Sensing Range: L: 13ft-20ft ; M: 20ft-33ft ; H: 33ft-49ft .

Note

i. There is No "Permanent On", "Always Stay On" or "Dusk to Dawn" Mode for this led motion light.

ii. The sensitivity would be affected by temperature, weather, surroundings, ect. Please make sure there is no obstacles in front of the sensor light.

Anyone want a sheep?

This light is great. It is very bright and works perfectly. The center stud could be slightly longer to aid with installation but that doesn’t effect the functionality in any way.
I will say that the installation instructions were a little confusing. As instructed I ordered my sheep from Delaware since I was installing this in a wet location. This might be more difficult for others but because I live in Delaware it was not a big inconvenience.
I asked the farm I got the sheep from how to make a compound out of it but they couldn’t offer any advice. I decided the best course of action was to fill the gaps in the light and then strap it to the sheep. However the sheep keeps getting tangled in the cord so I have to chase an upset sheep around to get it untangled.
Also since this is a motion light every time the sheep moves the light turns on. This is a little annoying in the middle of the night.
I might try ignoring this section and mount it a different way but watching a sheep running around with a motion light on its head does have a level of entertainment.

Great light once it's installed, BUT ...

Everything about this light is really good ... except for some snags when installing it on an older house. Before you make unnecessary trips up and down the ladder, here are a few things that are wrong:
#1: The main screw is just a tad bit short when you're using a certain kind of older box. I solved that by using a different strap. (Or you can go to the hardware store for a longer screw.)
#2: Wires have not been stripped back quite far enough.
#3: Wire nuts are not large enough for the larger wire in an old house.
Other than that, it's a great light. It is really, really bright white. Fine for security, but not flattering to my yard.

Lepower 28W Motion Sensor LED Light - So far so good. I've been through three cheaper motion sensitive lights (Defiant) and each has worked a max of 3 days. Then they start to strobe, or come on and never go off, or never come on. So maybe the $16 cheapo units were a waste of time. I bought this Lepower LED light at roughly twice the price of the cheap Defiants...and so far I'm loving it. Nice bright light that works every time. Installation was easy in the existing round fixture box on the side of my house. I'm pretty good with electricity but you don't need to be an electrician to install it. Kill the power at the circuit breaker panel. Connect black to black, white to white and green/yellow to the ground in the box. Screw the fixture to the center threaded bolt in the cross brace that comes with the light using the special hollow threaded "bolt" that also comes with the light. (Be sure you have mounted the cross brace so the center bolt is facing out towards you.) BTW, there is a little rubber washer in the package with the hollow "bolt" - push the rubber washer over this bolt before inserting it in the light; it forms a weather seal. That's it. For everyone who has been asking what size bolts are used to mount the cross brace: 8-32, available at any hardware store or in your junkbox. The unit comes with mounting bolts but if your fixture box is recessed too far into the siding of your house, you might need a couple of longer bolts. One more thing for anyone who has had problems with motion sensor lights: I sort of wondered if interference was riding in on the AC power and taking out my earlier Defiant brand units. My light is on the same circuit as my Samsung 46" TV on the other side of the wall and of course the TV has a large switching power supply that can generate RFI. I sort of doubt this is a problem, but just in case, I put a snap-on RFI suppressor toroid over the black and white (hot and neutral) wires inside the fixture box to suppress any interference that might be coming in. Don't know if it's helping, but it can't hurt. In any event, the Lepower is working well one week into its life here in the Pacific Northwest.

I got this item about a month ago. All necessary hardware is included, quite easy to install. Bad luck had it that I got a defective product out of the box. LePower send me a free of charge new replacement after contacting their customer service. No problems after I installed the new light. It's quite bright and covers very large area in my back yard. You can adjust angles of both lights horizontally and vertically to your needs. So bright covers about 120 feet away. If you are shopping for a security light I would definitely recommend this one, great price and warranty. Love this product.

I had an old light installed in the soffit on the corner of my house that was broken (hit hard by an errant soccer ball). I took it down and put this in its place in about 10 minutes. Waited for dark and...WOW..impressive amount of light! Much brighter and much better coverage of the yard than the one i took down. The opposite corner of the yard still has another of the old, non LED, lights and you hardly notice when it comes on compared to this one. I like how much coverage it has for our back yard.

I would like if the motion detector would rotate all the way around. Because mine is installed upside down, the control buttons are facing up and it will not spin around to have the buttons facing down. I set it how i want it and put tape over it but not sure how it will last.
