I won’t comment on each of them but here are a couple of thoughts. I’m not old enough for the 60s era that is Emma Calin’s setting for Champions but she writes about it so clearly that it is as if I do recall it. Rosie Dean’s story Modern Boys had a poignant ending I didn’t see coming. Nikki Mason’s The Letter is short but nonetheless heartfelt and in contrast Zara Stoneley’s A Bit like Bridget Jones has a wonderfully light touch.
An excellent read.
At the end of each story is an author bio. These women are accomplished and talented writers coming together for a good cause.
The proceeds are donated to Movember, the organization devoted to men’s health. I enjoyed each little vignette and highly recommend this venture for a noble cause.
I'm not gonna lie, there are some stories I enjoyed more than others, but they are all enjoyable. I wont tell you which one was my favourite, because I'm sure you will have a different one. I might even have a different favourite next time, and I'm sure there will be a next time.
I was already familiar with a few of these ladies work, but there are a few new to me authors in this pack and I can honestly say that I will be looking for their other books very soon.
