The good: the bright colors, the screen is very clear, already has apps and games on it, two-facing camera, my daughter really liked watching the videos on it
The bad: have had problems fully charging, couldn't use gift cards it comes with because websites no longer exist or only work in France, front screen locks and it's game over for your tablet
This started with my daughter getting a Lexibook Junior Tablet for Christmas. She was so excited to have her own tablet (she's 6), but they had to exchange the first one for another one because everything was in French. No big deal. We exchanged it a second time because the battery wasn't charging fully and the cord is VERY sensitive (turn it the right way and set it down or it'll start/stop charging). We have a case and charger with the tablet and had put them both inside the case. I'm guessing something a bit heavier was placed on top of it, and the inside screen cracked. The tablet still turned on, but the screen didn't work. It was stuck on the front page where you have to slide the lock. I could click on the time/internet info., but nothing else would work and it would go to sleep after a few seconds (while I was trying to push things). So, here I am on Amazon thinking it was probably the cracked screen and I should just get another one. I found one from a shared retailer through Amazon and it was delivered quickly. Within 12 hours, the screen locked on the time/lock front screen and we haven't gotten it to work since. I've emailed support 3 times. The first time they told me how to erase the tablet and start over (I emailed back I couldn't get to that screen); the second time they told me to try that same thing again, but if I couldn't do it they could try to fix it when they get parts if I sent it to France and paid 20 pounds. They could fix the cracked screen for 50 pounds. I know how U.S. money converts and am NOT spending all that money again (the first one we got at Best Buy couldn't be exchanged again because the cracked screen was our fault.) The third time I emailed them, they sent a reply that they were sending my info to the U.S. manufacturer and they would get back to me. This has taken almost a week and still no reply. It's so frustrating!
