The adapter came well packaged. The case included is nice and sturdy. I was hesitant before ordering this because another review says it does not work. I felt that person probably didn’t use it correctly or their Tesla does not have CCS charging support enabled. If you are not sure if your Tesla supports CCS charging, check one of the picture I attached to find out if the feature is enabled. It’s under “Software” -> “Additional Vehicle Information”
I went to Electrify America to test the adapter, everything worked great. The adapter has a solid connection with the charger. The station I used is only 150kW as there was no 250kW charger in my area. I did not prep my battery(as you can see in one of the picture, the battery was still in heating mode during charging session) but I could still get 50+ kW rate. I was able to charge the battery on my model Y long range from 45% to 88% in about 30ish minutes. At the end of the session, the adapter did not feel hot at all. Everything appeared to work great! This adapter expands our charging options and will come in handy when we are on road trips!

This CCS DC Charger works flawlessly

I just recently purchased my 2023 Tesla Model Y and wanted to expand my charging options to include CCS DC charging capabilities. I ordered this and tried it in varying charging companies and found it to operate flawlessly. It was easy to use and even came with a durable carrying case. I tested up to the maximum kW charging to 150 that I could find with no problems. There are a lot of different vendors online marketing similar devices and the reason I chose to go with LF Bros. was the amount of detailed explanations with illustrations to explain clearly who would qualify out-of-the-box to use this CCS adaptor; e.g., like checking your compatibility to use based on your model year, etc..

I bought it to prepare for a long trip in case supercharging was not available. I tested it before hitting the road. At first, I thought it was bulky, but it turned out to be a perfect match for the commercial charging station. When connected to our 2022 Model Y, it was recognized by the charging station immediately. It also has an anti-theft lock to prevent accidental disconnection or theft. I really appreciate the storage case that protects the adapter and keeps the trunk organized. I plan to keep the little tool in the trunk.

Whenever I used the adapter at Electrify America or EVgo it came up with this error. Bought a different brand adapter and it worked perfectly.
