IPS 4K Ultra HD with sRGB OVER 99%
One of the secrets behind LG’s outstanding high-definition performance is the specially designed display panel. IPS 4K delivers true colors from any angle with 4 times the resolution of Full HD. With IPS 4K, make any seat the best in the house. Also, by supporting sRGB over 99% on the IPS Display, the 27MU67-B minimizes color difference and color loss with the wide color gamut and color temperature that covers both the sRGB and CMYK color range. As a result, one can effortlessly retouch and image photos to create final products with vivid and vibrant colors that VA or other LCD panels cannot deliver.
FreeSync* technology eliminates the tearing and stuttering that occur between a graphic card’s frame rate and a monitor’s refresh rate. Thanks to FreeSync, gaming enthusiasts can experience virtually seamless, fluid movement throughout any hi-res, heavy-duty game. With FreeSync, you no longer need to upgrade your graphic card. Just immerse yourself in the action!
* FreeSync is only available when it is connected to Display Port.
Set your game mode optimal gaming conditions. There are three gamer modes, two First-Person-Shooter modes and even and RTS pre-set mode so you can choose the best mode for you.
Keep visibility even in dark scenes. LG's Black Stabilizer sense dark scenes and helps make it brighter so that you can find the enemies hiding and waiting to attack your player in the dark.
four Screen Split
The four Screen Split feature improves productivity by simply re-sizing the windows on your screen. With one drag you can re-size one window and the other windows automatically to fir the available space. It allows from two to four windows to be shown in eight different screen ratios without feeling cluttered.
Dual Link Up
The Dual Linkup feature allows two compatible portable devices--such as a computer, camera, phone, or Blu-ray player--to be connected to the monitor, and both can be viewed on the same screen simultaneously. Note: To use Dual Linkup, one device must be connected to the DisplayPort while the other is connected to the HDMI port.

On a side note, the monitor was delivered in its LG box, proudly displaying that it was 4K, IPS, Freesync monitor. I was annoyed that UPS didn't simply leave the box on my doorstep Friday, but when I saw how it was packaged on Monday, I'm glad then didn't leave it. Might as well have a beacon on it that says 'Steal me! Steal me!' Something to be aware of for future buyers, make sure you're present when the display is delivered.
The resolution is gorgeous, works well with LR and Nik.
The buttons are a joke, so switching inputs is a pain in the rear, for instance, I almost took a star away for that since I use the same monitor for my work Mac as well as personal PC, but the overall monitor experience has been excellent.
The monitor stand is sturdy, and you can position this monitor pretty much any which way you want (even landscape!). Wake up time is pretty quick too!
Anyway, what an amazing monitor!

Like many people interested in this monitor I am not a "hardcore" gamer. I enjoy Dota 2, Diablo 3, Counter Strike and other games along those lines. I am not worried about having a extra 2 ms advantage over some guy in a game. But I want something that looks good, and plays well. I also do some professional design work on the side, not enough to warrant a $2k monitor with perfect color, but something that I can be reasonably sure the colors I am seeing are close. This monitor fit the bill perfectly for me.
1. Shocked that I can play most of the games I enjoy at native resolution, they get decent fps and look amazing. (Running a Devils Canyon i7 at 4GHz, with a Radeon R9 290.)
2. Color looks good out of the box, but after calibrating it with a colorimeter it looked much better. Seemed to have a blue tint out of the box based on the before and after on my calibration software. My software also confirmed 99% sRGB.
3. In Windows 10 do not go to the "Advanced display settings" and set the custom scaling from there. I did this first and it messed up my Dual monitor config. My old 1920x1200 display was zoomed in 150% the same as my LG display. Instead just goto the standard "Display Setting" screen select the LG display and use the slider right there to "Change the size of text, apps and other items." That will only apply to that display and leave you other displays alone. (Note I went with 175% zoom. I am old now :) and that is comfortable for me.
4. I have not noticed any dead pixels, or significant back light bleeding.
I will update if anything else comes to me. :)
