This model has been a great purchase. Easy to install with window kit and uncomplicated operation.
It is a bit noisy, but no more than similar products and actually it soon became just like a white noise in my bedroom and actually helped sleep - in my experience.
It looks modern and sleek and my anxiety at ordering a refurbished model and saving some money was not warranted. It arrived in as new condition and has worked perfectly..
6/4/2016 Update: I still have the replacement LG air conditioner. It leaks whenever you tilt it, but it is designed to drain water. It uses up an incredible amount of energy, so be prepared for $40+ higher electric bills. It has served me well over the last few years.
