"Upgraded" to this phone from the Samsung Flight (original), because my Samsung phone couldn't hold a charge anymore.

First impressions: wasn't impressed at all. This phone is basically the same as the Xpression 1, just different color.

- Interface and icons are not user friendly. On/off buttons are | and O respectively, but they don't tell you that unless you read the manual. Could've just used ON or OFF instead, but I guess they wanted to be difficult. You'll need to download the manual off of LG's website because a regular manual is not included inside the box. Had to look at the manual for explanation of what icons are for what functions, whereas my old Samsung was easy to figure out.

- Address book/contacts sporadically takes a long time to load (sometimes over a minute). Other times it's instant. Does not have a "search" function. For example, if you have a lot of contacts on your phone, you'll have to manually scroll down to the desired name to get the number. With my old phone, you could type in the first letter of the person's name, and it'll show their info.

- Widgets (clock icons, calendar icons, etc) are a complete mess. Good luck trying to position it on your screen. Dragging the icons to the desired position on the screen is a pain. Taking them off screen is even worse. If you like having a clock (digital or analog) on your screen, you'll need to drag the clock icon to the screen. It's fairly large, so if you have personal wallpaper (like a photo) as your background, you'll end up blocking a good chunk of it. It would've been so much easier if they could display the time in the upper right hand corner like most other phones do.

- Screen is slightly distorted/blurry when viewing horizontally. Vertical viewing is fine though.

The sound is rather muddy but is improved if you change the setting from "stereo".

The touch screen is very sensitive yet it is more difficult than average to use the touch screen to end a call.

Using the zoom on the camera is quite cumbersome and not user friendly. The settings don't appear until you touch the screen, and then the "slide" is quite small and too close to the other buttons on the touch screen, leading it to close instead of slide. And the zoom isn't that impressive--my 4 year old phone did a better job.

Deleting a photo is easy. Whee.

Texting: well, if you have texted certain contacts recently, it will pull those up immediately but if you want to text someone else, it is a several step process to do that.

Good call-and-text phone. This is a basic phone with basic functions. Do not buy this if you are expecting to use the camera as it is only 2MP. This LG is a great non-smartphone. I downgraded to the Xpression2 after I grew tired of paying the high costs of upgrades, data, smartphone fees, etc associated with having the latest fad smartphone. The LG Xpression has phenomenal battery life. I only charge it every 3 or 4 days. Texts are easy to send on the slide-out keyboard. I use the Mobile Web to check weather and news headlines occasionally. I am satisfied with this phone.

The phone is OK for phone calls but don't try to play music as the phone restarts after each track. ATT replaced the phone twice and Lg has tried to fix it twice and no one will admit that there is a software glitch in the music app. I finally got ATT to agree to give me credit to purchase a replacement phone of another mfg. after 5 months of aggravation dealing with ATT and LG. This came about when I called the cancel line and told ATT to cancel my account.

This phone was sold to me as being able to play music. It will not play music in the "shuffle" mode. It will play 1 - 3 songs and does a reset and shuts off. This is the 3rd one of these I have had (previous ones were replaced by AT&T). I have had this 3rd phone sent to the LG repair facility in Ft. Worth Texas, THREE times. They either cannot or will not fix the phone. The phone is still under warranty.

The repair personnel in Ft. Worth are totally incompetent.

It is too bad I have to even give this thing even 1 star!

This is my current phone with AT&T. It's the best phone I've ever had (I've bought multiple smartphones that glitched so bad out of the box I immediately returned them and bought a flip phone instead). I hate smartphones and don't need to be connected to the internet wherever I am, unlike what most people believe these days. I honestly feel more free not being a slave to facebook and the internet.

At first, I was worried the keypad would be hard to adjust to. I've had a slider phone in the past, and my fingers, despite being pretty small, had a hard time hitting the right keys. On this phone, I've never had that issue. They keypad feels so right to me, I could never go back to touchscreen keypads (they are the bane of my existence). There aren't many usable features on this phone, but I'm assuming if you're looking at this phone to begin with, you're not necessarily looking for a smartphone anyway. Internet doesn't work at all for me. It spends forever trying to load, and when it finally does, it's such a pain to navigate the internet with this. Last few times I even tried the internet (it's been a good few months), it didn't load anything at all and I just gave up. Could be an operating system error, but could also be a service error. Too bad AT&T is so horrible I'll never know for sure. My last slider was the LG Rumor 2 (I'm guessing that's the model just before this one), and the internet worked slow, but fine, so it really might not be this phone after all. BTW, this phone is much better in my opinion than the Rumor 2.

First off, this thing is sturdy as anything. I've spiked this on the ground sooo many times, and even put a small hole in my wall where I threw it once.
