I really do like this mop. I like that I can choose how much spray solution to spray out and also what solution I want to use (I make my own with water, vinegar, and a few drops of dish detergent). However, we have quite a bit of 'dimensional' vinyl flooring and dirt in the crevices does not clean well with this mop. That aside, for fast clean-ups without dragging out buckets, mops, or expensive disposable things (which also only really do very flat floors), this little mop is excellent.

WARNING: do NOT buy the refills here on Amazon. The company selling them, BIC Superstore, charges far more for the refill pads than any other place on the net. This is NOT Amazon's fault, but the greed of the seller. The way it was written up, it seemed like three pads were for sale for about $7.50, making each for sale at about $2.50 apiece, which is a little less than many other places on the net. However we received only six replacements and when I wrote BIC about this they said the 'three' referred to the three green stripes on each replacement pad. They refunded us $15. This brings down the cost of the refills we just bought here on Amazon to about $6.00 each instead of about $7.50 each. Still a rip-off. Buy the mop here and replacement pads (which are nice to have so you always have a clean one while the others are in the wash) someplace else.

I really am glad that I purchased this mop. I can clean my floors on-the-fly without having to schlep out a bucket and mop. One thing I would've wanted with this product is an extra pad (that's why only 4 stars). The pads get dirty quickly and I would prefer to use a fresh pad with each use as I clean my floors frequently. So to get around the stingy one-pad deal, I made my own custom-made cleaning pads that anchor nicely onto the bottom of the mop. I simply use the microfiber cleaning cloths that you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond stores (or any home goods store). I cut the cloth to size and adhere one piece to the bottom of the mop. They cling nicely. When one side gets filthy, flip it to the other side! One microfiber cloth cut into sized rectangles netted me about 5 extra pads and they can be washed after each use just like the Libman pads. So purchasing this mop was a win-win for me, woohoo!

This is a time saver and a money saver. This little mop will pay for itself in no time. No more special cleaners, batteries, or pads to buy, and all that stuff adds up. This mop actually sprays better and cleans better than my old swiffer wet jet. Thank you Libman for this innovative idea. Hats off to you.

I have been using the Swifter Wet Jet for years. Got tired of the prices for the pads, cleaner and using batteries....so I purchased the Freedom at Target. Really loved it...compared to the wet jet....after time I realized it's junk. The pads start to curl up if you wash them..and I have hand wash cycle and let air dry...and to get the bottle off to fill it is so hard that I actually have to ask my husband to do it for me....it took me about a month for the honeymoon phase to end. I actually would prefer the wet jet over this....my husband purchased the Rubbermaid Reveal for me and I have had it for a month...bottle is easy to take off...pads are made much better and hold up (according to website you can use it twice as long as the Freedom). It is just made much better. This was a good idea but Rubbermaid has made one that is much easier to use. Don't spend the money. Check out the Reveal. I know you will love it compared to the Freedom.

At first the mop wouldn't spray at all, I was very disappointed. I did some extensive googling and found a troubleshooting guide. Just take the bottle out, and pour hot water on the white tip. Press the water in. It should spray. I just cleaned my kitchen floor and very satisfied. Why do they make this information so hard to find? I just want to mop, not have to go through all of this. I have not fallen into the trap of buying swiffer products, at least not lately. I bought one originally, liked it, but did not like the never-ending cost of the products you had to buy, as well as the not-so-green swiffer solution. From the beginning, I thought that it would be great to have a mop just like the swiffer that would accommodate the cleaning product of the consumer's choice. And rewashable pads. That's not new. At long, long last, it has come to pass. I bought this just today at my local Walmart (for $10 cheaper than the amazon price!) and haven't used it yet, but I'm giving it 5 stars for the concept. I really loathe consumer products that require a mindless dependence on the accessories that go along with the original product. Ditto the other review on here. Hats off to the Libman Co.

Update: I've used the product twice now, and my 5 stars have become 6! It's not only an excellent concept, but it's an excellent product. I guess whether or not it holds up is something for which I will have to wait and see. It makes mopping such a breeze, and I get to use my own choice of liquid. The liquid container also is removable, another plus, since it's awfully awkward to try to fill and empty it by coercing the mop to fit over your kitchen sink (guilty). The pad simply velcroes on, and I found that other pads of the same size easily stick as well. I am so, so, so pleased with this product.

Update #2: Yes, the container leaks, but from my experience over the past couple of years, it only leaks when taken out of the mop. If you are careful to keep the container on its side and not over-fill it, and then quickly slip it into place with the mop on its side, there will be little to no leakage. Once the container is in place, there is no leaking at all.
