I read Ann’s diary the first time at age 12. It changed my life. I have read it several times in the 50 plus years since. This gave me new insights into the girl who wanted to be a writer, and who unknowingly wrote a treatise which should be required reading for everyone. The Life special edition paid a beautiful homage to this girl’s legacy. Like the Diary itself, this should be required reading.

I read the Diary of Anne Frank when I was in tenth grade, the way the story was written inspired me then and inspires me now, only more so to be compassionate and kind to others, to be a helper and put something good in the world. The Life magazine's account from different people in the story was a wonderful treasure to my heart. The photos were another treasure and I felt something new , undescribable in words every time I flipped the pages over. Great read from start to finish.
