I hope this book inspires others (as it has me) to take control over their health rather than waiting until they get really sick to go to the doctor... if they can afford to. Using the methods in this book will not only help you to get well if your body is out of whack, but they can help you to stay well if you're lucky enough to be healthy. Forget New Years resolutions. Just learn these methods, get healthy in body and mind, and live a great life. Not just for two weeks at the start of each year, but every day, and to the absolute fullest.

John’s open and frank manner of aiding the reader is evident in the following excerpt: ‘If you have stress, discomfort or illness in your life, this book will give you some brand new, user friendly solutions with which most medical personnel are unfamiliar. Since most physicians don't personally use them, how could they recommend them to patients like yourself? Here are a few simple questions. If you answer yes to any of them, then this book was written just for you. - Are you experiencing chronic aches, pain or discomfort? Do you have a degenerative illness or an autoimmune disease? Do you suffer from stress, trauma or emotional baggage? Do you want to help a friend or loved one who has any of the above issues? Many people, despite trying numerous medical procedures, remain in pain. They are told that drugs or surgery are the only solutions and that they are facing disability if they do nothing. Some doctors, to their credit, suggest exercise, meditation, recreation and vacation to help deal with stress.
We’re all free to make our own health choices and my personal option is to avoid drugs which all have side effects. Even though my grandfather was a surgeon in Ireland, I believe surgery, while sometimes necessary, is rarely the answer to chronic aches and pain. Doctors concentrate on treating symptoms, like tumors, instead of zeroing in on the causes of illness, which are often stress and trauma. Moreover, most doctors don’t know how to eliminate stress and trauma.’
