Life is a peach & then you pie. 🧡🍑PEACH GALETTE 🍑🧡 Crust Ingredients: • 2½ cups flour • 1 cup vegan butter • ½ cup plant milk • 1 tbsp sugar • 1 tsp salt Peach Cream Ingredients: • 1/2 can coconut cream (reserve 1 tbsp) • 1 tbsp cornstarch • 1/2 tsp Living Jin agar • 1/4 tsp salt • 3 tbsp sugar • 1/2 peach Peach Topping Ingredients: • 2.5 peaches, sliced • 1/2 tbsp sugar Crust Garnish Ingredients: • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional) Method: • Combine dry crust ingredients. • Scoop butter in 1 tbsp at a time & mix with your hands. • Slowly add the milk & continue mixing with hands. • Shape the dough into a disk, cover with plastic wrap & chill for 30 mins. • Add all of the cream ingredients to a saucepan on medium heat except for the cornstarch & 1 tbsp of coconut cream. Bring everything to a boil while whisking constantly. • Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer & combine the cornstarch & reserved coconut cream in a small bowl with a fork until a slurry forms. • Whisk the slurry into the saucepan & continue simmering for 5 more minutes. • Use an immersion blender to reach an even consistency • Remove the pan from the heat & set aside to cool. • Preheat the oven to 400. • Remove the dough from the refrigerator & roll it out on a piece of parchment paper until it is about 1/4-1/8th of an inch thick. Transfer the dough to the pan you will cook it on. • Slowly scoop the slightly chilled cream onto the dough & spread it evenly, leaving approximately 1-2 inches of crust. • Place the sliced peaches on top of the crust an sprinkle with 1/2 tbsp of sugar. • Fold the crust over the peaches, overlapping where necessary. • Bake for 50-55 minutes. • Cool & Enjoy! 💚

I love making desserts, so making jelly is one of them. I gave this agar powder a try. And the jelly I have made so far turn out to be really great. I like the texture of the jelly, you can adjust the powder as your preference to the texture. I using their agar powder to make mango jelly, soy milk jelly, blue pea jelly & red wine jelly.
