After downsizing and moving into a smaller home, I had a concrete slab for a patio. I ordered this and I absolutely love it!!! It's huge, very well made, and so easy to put up and down. If something ever does happen to this one, I imagine I would want another one just like it to replace it. I will say that normal umbrella stands won't be strong enough. I bought a stand that you fill with sand and has wheels that can be locked. I have about a 100 pounds of sand in it. Between the stand and the umbrella, I can easily push it close to the house when it's closed or wheel it to the middle of the patio to put it up. Again...love, love, love it!!

Very nice umbrella, the mechanism works very smoothly. I used it for my large 4ft x 8ft table and the size worked perfectly. If you are going to use this for a patio table the pole diameter is larger than a standard umbrella (1 7/8 in vs 1 5/8 in) and will not fit thru the normal opening. I had to enlarge the opening and still looking for a grommet large enough for this pole. Also the pole extension (in my opinion) needs to be a least 4 to 6 in longer to raise the umbrella up higher for table use. Prob not an issue if using for lounges , etc.

The umbrella is great it's just finding the base to fit it it is too heavy for the flat face that it comes with or supposed to have the umbrella went flying when the little bit of wind came it needs to have a better sturdy base for this umbrella but the product is awesome

This patio umbrella is absolutely large enough to cover our outdoor teak table that sits 6. In fact, it covers beyond the chairs as well so there is complete coverage. I’ve never experienced this sort of coverage before, due, of course, to smaller market umbrellas. As multiple reviewers have stated, the pole diameter is wider than most standard bases allow. The hole in my table is 2” and there is a lower carriage underneath the table with another 2” hole to give the pole plenty of table support. I installed this umbrella without a base. The sheer weight of the umbrella seems to secure it firmly in place/ especially due to the double holes in my table setting. I believe this will try to spin if the wind really picks up, but otherwise, I can’t see this thing flying out of the table during normal use. I plan on keeping this umbrella down while not in use, to avoid any unnecessary accidents and damage to the fabric, but time will tell if it will last. We certainly don’t abuse our umbrellas, so I believe it will last through A good number of seasons. Down here in south Florida, everyday is an umbrella day for what it’s worth. Looking forward to the complete coverage as shown in my picture.

Terrible quality material.. rain goes right through it to get your chairs wet and you if you are under it! Do not buy this one. Now I have to purchase another one and hope the material is thicker.

The umbrella was delivered in the wrong color. I ordered brown and they sent me blue. I returned it get the correct color; however, they sent me another blue umbrella. Instead of the hassle of waiting again for the correct color I decided to keep the blue as I was not confident I would receive the brown color. Overall the umbrella is the perfect size I needed and with a stood stand it holds well. I just have a small problem with it turning slowly on its own. Have figured out how to get it to stay in one direction.

Beautiful umbrella. Bought a 50 lb base for it. It tipped over on a windy day. Definitely needs to be inserted into a table for balance. Kept the heavy base on and stuck it in a table. Windy days are no longer a problem. I would highly recommend getting a cover for it. It's really nice and you don't want it to wear and tear with the weather.
