so far so good. nice smooth pedals but a little tougher than the Keo sprints they replaced getting into them. You have to be perfect or they don't snap in. Maybe this will change once broken in. I do have them set low tension to make it easy but still tough...

I used Look pedals many years ago as our ski area also used Look for our rental ski bindings. They are a quality made product that over the years I have had VERY few complaints about. This current model of pedal is just slightly hard to get into but that said I have NO other complaints about. They are Look pedals and they accomplish what they are designed to do. I am an avid cyclist and average 80-100 miles a week. I look forward to many years of use from this pedal. Looks are a fantastic pedal, buy the ORIGINAL clip-less pedal not a "come-lately" pedal!
Now after over 3000 miles they are much easier to get into. Still NO complaints!!

I've been riding these pedals for approximately the last 5 years, putting on about 5000 miles a year. I ride with a large cycling club and these are far and away the most common pedals amongst both club riders and racers. They are among the lightest pedals available, significantly lighter than some brands and slightly lighter than others. Critically, the Keo Max's have one of the largest platforms to support the shoe, which eliminates the chances of a "hotspot" beneath your foot. This is a large advantage over Speedplay pedals, which are the easiest to clip into, but result in "hotspots" on the riders soles. I believe only the Look Keo Blade's have a larger platform. The Look's are also easy to clip into because the pedals are weighted to face the right direction when you are going to slip your shoe/cleat in. The construction is sturdy and has held up to years of use for me. I have heard of no other complaints from others about breakage. I have to lube the spindles every couple years (10k miles) and that is the only regular maintenance issue.

The product arrived quickly but one of the pedals had escaped the box due to insufficient packaging. One of the pedals appeared to have scratches or wear marks on it even though everything else appeared new. I returned the pedals because of these marks and because the weight was slighly off of the advertised weight and because the pedals appeared to be an older model than what I was expecting. The guy I talked to at the company was nice and they accepted my return without any trouble. However, it has been a month since i returned the package and 15 days since they received the return but they have failed to refund my money.
