To be honest, I fast for 16 hours a day, not 20, but I am working my way down, maybe varying the hours according to my schedule, but never fasting for less than 16. That said, I got some great tips from this book, and I really enjoyed reading it. I hope the author writes a follow-up. For those of us dedicated time restricted fasters, I feel you can never get enough good information, tips and ideas. Highly recommended!
Everything you need is here. Although the regime is simplicity itself, I highly recommend that you buy this book, costing, as it does, next to nothing. The rules are these: Eat what you want in a four-hour window every day, for every day that you want to fast. Eat nothing for the other twenty hours. If possible, eat in the four hours before you go to bed. That's it.
It's like going to a party and realising that the cleverest guy you've ever met is explaining to you how he applied engineering principles to the problem of losing weight.
I lost nine pounds in four days when I started, though it obviously settles down after that.
