John Miller and Ray DiSilvestro have been writing comedy material as a team for almost 10 years....most of it GOOD...some of it (e.g. THE LOST EPISODES) FANTASTIC! They've written several books, standup comedy material, and are presently writing (another) sitcom for a well known production company.
John and Ray use only certified organic, free-range, perfume and gluten free, and politically correct humor (The preceding statement is an outright lie).

The LOST is the best!

I wanted add some laughter to my life before winter set in. So I started buying humor books and took a chance on this one. FANTASTIC --its beautifully written, affectionate, profane, searingly honest, and it is just blatantly-makes-me-laugh FUNNY--if it had pictures or drawings, it might have to be X-RATED! So many every-day situations (ok, sometimes exaggerated) that are related in such an outrageous, yet insanely funny way.

I've read it thru twice and picked up on little subtle humor bits the authors buried in the dialogue, and I go back and read my favorite episodes whenever I need a little boost. Thank you SO MUCH--it gives me a laugh whenever I feel I need it--this book could be cross-posted under 'self help!'. (And if the authors read this, please. please, please read the email I sent with suggestions you asked for in the book). I can hardly wait for the next edition/volume that 's supposed to be out around Christmas.

An Exceptional Visual Experience

I took a chance by purchasing this book strictly from the reviews and was looking for a good laugh. I laughed through the entire book...it's really that good! I know Curb may never return but if they do, the many ideas in this book will make any audience laugh. This book is a visual experience...made me feel like I was in each scene! I also liked that the authors were looking for interactive feedback which I took part in and actually sent in my ideas/suggestions. Looking forward to their response. For the money, this was definitely worth it and I am re-reading my favorite chapters. Volume 2?

OFFENSIVE AND OUTRAGEOUS - Exactly as promised

This book is well written, easy to read, and fast-paced. The characters are all familiar, and the situations that the authors created are full of outrageous humor and insanity! Great comedy and will keep it on my "re-read" list and pull it out when I need a good laugh. Looking forward to the promised VOLUME 2. Would love to see these make it into the actual (TV) series.

I bought this book for my brother who is a huge Curb Your Enthusiasm fan, but wehn I received it, I started reading it and decided not to give it to him until after I finished it. I like the interactive part and will send the authors my suggestions for their special guest. Did Larry David see this yet? He would say Pretty Pretty Pretty good. Loved the stories.....still laughing. WHERE's the Ebook version??

I ordered this book to read on the plane to Germany. Not only did it make me laugh and disturb a few fellow passengers, but it made the flight time pass by so quickly. I was able to read the entire book, cover to cover, and still had time to get some much needed sleep. I have many friends and fans of the show Curb Your Enthusiasm and will be ordering a few more copies as stocking stuffers!

As a very ‘Picky’ type of guy, I would never rate this book 5 stars but this book deserves it. As the book states, it starts off slow building the framework then quickly takes off. The episodes in the book are more than funny…they are fresh creative humor I haven’t seen before! About time! Highly recommended to any Curb fan or anyone looking to laugh…out loud!

PRETTYYY good. This book is like a love letter to Larry David, disguised as a laugh-out-loud collection of scripts. I enjoyed most of it (cover to cover in 1 day) ... the "episodes" are the funniest parts. I love CURB and this book will fill the void until (hopefully) a new season is produced

Pretty dreadful, I'm afraid. There is the odd half-amusing section, but on the whole, it's simply not very funny at all. The 'lost' scenes are interspersed with chapters by the writers explaining their influences and inspirations - their awful boss, for example. Unfortunately, during these chapters, the writers come across as self-obsessed and give the impression that they can't understand why they haven't been signed up by Larry as writers on the show yet. If they truly believe Larry would, for example, use the episode involving Richard Simmons, then they are seriously deluded.

They have failed to realise that a significant proportion of the show is improvised, so the scenes that they have written for, say, Leon are dreadful and embarrassing.

Stick to the originals.
