I have somewhat fair skin with freckles and brown sunspots. I don't like to wear a heavy foundation because I live in a humid climate and makeup tends to melt (and I don't have the patience to stand in front of the mirror trying to make my skin look flawless). My usual combo of tinted moisturizer and a basic stick concealer doesn't do much to hide the brown spots. I just got this crayon and tried it...I don't know what its trick is, but it really hid the brown spots well and doesn't look cakey or like I'm made-up. I was very pleasantly surprised!

It did get a little melty sitting on the front porch, though, so if you're ordering it for a hot climate, you might want to make sure someone is going to be there to bring the package in out of the heat.

It's not bad. I definitely like the liquid concealer in the tube better. Been using that for almost 15 years so I decided to switch it up by trying the stick. The color is a "true match" is why I love the product so much. I stick with fair/light warm. The stick is smooth when applying but it's a sheerer than the tube and it's way harder to spot conceal blemishes. I am not a huge fan to be honest. Will stick with the tube.

I have a problem with spotted and mottled skin due to aging and too much sun. I am an American of African and European descent with a
light-to- medium brown complexion. This L'Oreal True Match Super-Dependable Crayon is exactly what it says it is. It is a true match for my complexion and it is super, super blend-able. It only takes a little bit to cover my freckles and discolored skin making my skin as clear and as smooth looking as it did when I was 20. And a little bit goes a long way. I originally bought this product in your typical neighborhood pharmacy. Then I discovered that this particular shade is almost always sold out in my neighborhood stores. It is very frustrating when this happens. Perhaps this is because I live in a diverse community with a high proportion of light-to-medium brown skinned women of Latino descent who have a complexion tone and color close to or the same as mine. There are also lighter and darker shades, so nobody is excluded. I know that this product will cover the smallest skin problem to a larger one (like mine); from the tiniest mole or freckle to the freckled complexion that I have inherited through the years. And hot and humid summer days do not make it run. This little crayon is handy for any woman (or man) who would like to have a perfectly even skin tone.The important thing is to get just the right shade. I love it!!! Thanks to Amazon.com, this product is always accessible to me.

A repeat of my review for a slightly darker color of the crayon.
I use this color as well as a lighter color. The lighter color is applied first. I dot it on my skin. Then I dot again with this color. THEN using a finger tip, blend the top. Unfortunately when I hit my mid-60s my beautiful skin (I didn't even wear foundation until well into my 40s) started picking up the brown dots. Had I know this was going to happen, perhaps I would have not tried to EVER get a tan. If you have light color skin but tan easily -- DON'T. The brown spots will get you eventually & trust me -- you don't want them when you are old either. I also have hypo-allergenic skin and can't use just *any ole makeup*. I have no break-out problems using this product. Why the 4 stars? Because the tips of a new crayon will break off very easily -- the lighter color arrived with the tip broken off. Also there is a LOT of crayon left when you no longer can "dot" with the crayon. Just use one of the rarely used tools in your manicure set & dig out from the crayon. There's at least another 1/3 to 1/2" of concealer left. I preferred the L'Oreal Cover Girl Concealer that was in a little jar but apparently it is no longer made. I switched to this.

I've been using this true match crayon concealer for a while now & I love it! It truly is "super blendable" at least more so than any other concealer types I've tried (*best blendable with a concealer brush). The coverage is pretty spectacular and I've never needed to reapply throughout the day unless you sweat an unusual amount that day or you have one of those big, painful cyst-like pimples then you'll probably have to drop this baby in your bag and reapply every once and a while throughout the day. I also like that the colors come in different tones as well to really match anyones skin tone!
