Soft Shades Of Green ...

The quality of "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel" was exactly what I wanted. The powdered shadows go on smoothly and evenly; they do not flake off into your eyes. I found the shadow lasted throughout the day. The case is compact and fits easily into your bag; scratches are to be expected, so I did not downgrade the product because of the condition of the case.

The colors were a surprise. Although these are soft and subtle hues that do not scream "look at me", they were not as they appeared in the product photo. Rather than the soft tones of gray I expected, "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel's" colors proved to be green. Because the colors were ones I had forgotten to order, I was not disappointed and kept the "mistaken" purchase.

L'Oreal has made using this product very easy for those of us who are not expert make-up artists. The back of the package shows the manner and order in which the various colors should be applied to create a modern "eye". The top color, as shown in the photo, is a soft, pale celery hue and enhances without "popping". The white is to be applied above the eye, under the brow; I found it to be a bit obvious. It needed to be buffed some to reduce its depth. The second color from the top is a khaki hue; it does not appear as dark when applied as it does in the picture. The deep brown at the bottom of the palette works well, for me, as a liner when applied with the side of the included applicator. I do wish there were multiple applicators included with "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel".

If you prefer a soft, subtle eyeshadow colors and are looking for something in the green-family, you may want to consider "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel". Amazon Marketplace delivery was quick, and the new product was in excellent condition.

Color: So over itVerified Purchase

Love it = perfect. One small drawback sometimes. The quality of the sponge type applicator could be better; whomever is supplying Revlon with those brushes needs to step it up a notch as 2 out of 10 (Yes I have 10 of these at least) two of the wands came unglued rendered useless. I tried to glue back together the first time nope. Second time i ought some from the store to use but they won't fit in with the slot for them (not same size). For the price,, and for the quality o the rest of that line, they should use a better wand supplier. I do like the thin side though for easy under eye application.

this is my second purchase of this quad and I love and appreciate it for what it is. This is a perfect fresh face nude neutral eyeshadow. Is it highly pigmented ??No it is not-I have a ton of pallets that have buttery pigment..try to get a no makeup makeup look with those is rough. This is all matte, I woke up like this eyeshadow.its a lot dryer than most of Loreals eyeshadows but I don't get a ton of fall out and no creasing they blend into each other without looking muddy. If your new to makeup it's almost impossible to mess up your eyeshadow with this quad, it's not too warm or cool your eyes but better.

I don't often wear a lot of makeup ,but I do wear eye shadow . I am very particular about the color. I wasn't sure about ordering online. I chose this type compact because it was a matte finish and there were lighter colors in case the darker colors were too much for me. The colors were exactly what I expected. I have not needed to use the lightest shade to mute the shadows and I don't need to reapply!

I didn't use the applicator... I use a brush applicator. It did come with a typical sponge applicator.

The colors in this are awful! They did not look the same once applied, which required a lot of powder for the pigment to even show up. Even with a primer, the color did not last nor did the colors blend well. The white was the only color that turned out as expected, the lightest blue was so-so. The Navy looked like rubbish, it was like a muddy navy on me. And whatever the fourth color is supposed to be (a dark teal?) looked more black or gray once applied. Trying to follow their suggestion for applying all four shades looked like mush on my eyelids.

I should have listed to other reviews, the outside looks like the case has been used, almost as if they took a used case and refilled it. It has a lot of tiny scratches on it which seems long long term wear. I don't trust this item, it is going right in the trash

The colors are great and well pigmented, but the case arrived broken and scratched. If it weren’t sealed, I would think it was used! The lid doesn’t close so I have to store it in a small bag with my make up. Oh well. It was for a costume so I didn’t bother to send it back.

The directions are helpful and make it easy to do a colorful Smokey eye even if you’re a make up novice! *raises hand*

I only buy L'Oreal Paris eye shadow. The 'Stacked Heels' color combination is nice but VERY light. If you want just a tiny hint of eye shadow, this is a great one, but for anything more than that, you will need to apply several layers and still will not get much color from it. It compliments complexions with pink undertones.
