One thing that some people may have issues with is the amount of batteries that needs to be used. Each light holds 3 which means for the set you will need 18 AAA batteries.
I love the fact that while each set comes with two remotes, if you only need to use one it will work for every set. Personally I have mines held on by a small piece of Velcro depending on the location of the lights. So one is hanging in my closet and my linen closet You also need to point in the direction of the lights to ensure that all the lights will turn off.
As you can see in my video there are different ways to utilize these lights. The video does start off dark because I wanted to be able to show the difference with me having no natural lights to me using these.
I can’t lie while I still love these lights they do burn through batteries at a fast rate. That is whether you use them or not. Since I only use them at night both in the hallway and in the kitchen and turn them off when I’m done their life span has been decent but if used for long periods of time you will find yourself replacing the barriers at a fast rate. I personally tend to catch a big pack of good AAA batteries on sale at my local ShopRite for about $2 (I buy multipile packs to last me for a while) so it’s not as bad. But if your spending $4 and $5 on a small pack then you will find yourself annoyed within 2 weeks or so.
These promptly made their way to my trash barrel. Complete waste of money.
Upon further review, the lights drained the three AAA batteries after 2 uses. I cannot believe it. HORRIBLE that the batteries drain when the lights were not left on.
I can't imagine using these extensively as it is 3 AAA batteries for 2 uses multiplied by 4 lights... Save your money or buy a wired solution.
- Comes with 2 remotes (so you have a spare)
- Remotes come with batteries
- You’ll need 3x AAAs for each light.
- A 3M sticky foam pad is provided for mounting (1 per light).
I initially placed one on a shelf and turned it on flawlessly with the remote, but then the remote wouldn’t turn it off. I discovered the batteries weren’t all pushed in fully (although the light was still on). Opening it up and pushing them in all the way fixed the issue in a snap.
One remote controls ALL of the lights! :D
I like that I can press ON to turn all of them on (including the one in my closet sometimes if the door is open). I can also point it directionally at a single light, like into my closet, out of view of the other lights’ sensors and control one or two at a time, which I also like.
Top international reviews
ALSO: Neither of the remotes work. On the one remote the OFF button is the only button that works, on the other remote none of the buttons work. And yes I did remove the plastic battery cover.
I wouldn't recommend this product to an enemy much less a friend. IOW pick a different product.
I am getting 3h at most compaged to the 100h advertised (lol), each puck has 3xAAA batteries so with 6 pucks you will need to find a solution to recharge all these batteries at once and you will most likely need to buy backup batteries. Still beat drilling into cement and I can move these around for optimal setup. Just keep a ladder close and make sure to put freshly recharged batteries before an event that will last longer than 3h (and don't buy EBL batteries, the Amazon Basics rechargeable last way longer).
J'en es acheté 4 paquets de 8 lumière et j'en suis déjà rendu à presque 100 batterie en quelque semaines ( utilisation normal et pas prolongé ) aimerais grandement me faire remboursée !!!
But they work well so do the remotes
Great for power outage
Bath room, closet, under cupboards, on night stands. Very happy with them
