Fits like a glove, doesn't obstruct any functions. Adds a nice grip and bulk to a thin small phone. Inner lining is nice and smooth not like most two layer cases that I've seen which are almost tacky and create an anti skid feeling. This case is nice and smooth. Better than expected :) ordered on a Sunday and got it on Wednesday so shipping was great too.

I might have had every phone and case by now........ This one is super, my only hesitance in trying it was the price. I thought it was way to cheap to be any good but I read other reviews claiming different. It fits great like a glove and even better doesn't interfere whatsoever with phone function. It's comfortable in hand, looks sharp and is a great balance between to jelly and hard case. To hard and it falls out of pocket, to jelly and it's a pain to get out of pocket.... This one is just right. Remember to get screen protectors this one does everything awesome all over and around the phone but the screen is left exposed. I'm returning my $80.00 Life Proof case. That thing would probably do as it's advertised but I'm not planning to take my phone into combat in the frozen rain forest anytime soon. Just had a thought... Ever see people smoking around their kids but they have a $100.00 case on their phone to protect it..... Can't figure that out....

Wanted to take a half a star away for the plastic/rubber shell being "slippery" but from reading other reviewers before hand I already knew it was.

It went on fine, at least my kid didn't complain anyway when he put it on. He liked it better then he thought he would, especially after I told him how much the phone cost's if he breaks it.

It just "Feels" slippery because it looks like it's rubber but it's like a hard rubber/soft plastic feel. I just didn't want it to slip out of his pocket when he bent over or something. It's feels really rugged for what it looks like though. The case does rise about 1/8 inch above the glass so if it did fall it will not slide on the glass part.
I did buy a separate "film" to put on the raw glass to keep the scratch's down but haven't done it yet.

If you need a slim/thin shell I would buy this again.

I wanted a case that wasn't too bulky and this fit the bill perfectly. It has a decent non-slip finish on it and overall has a nice feel to it. I've only dropped my phone one time so far and that was onto a vinyl floor. The case did its job with no damage to the phone. The buttons on the side work well. The price was right and I'm glad I gave it a try.

Update: July 2015
After a year and a half the hard shell case broke. I contacted Luvvitt customer support and sent them a couple pictures of the case along with my Amazon invoice. They responded to me just hours later and told me that normally they ask for the product to be sent back but they would make an exception in this case. They told me a new case would be sent out immediately and it was. I got it in the mail about a week later. I'm very impressed with the quality of service I received from Luvvitt.

This is my 2nd LUVVITT ARMOR SHELL CASE! I wore out the 1st. I have a iPhone 5c which is a hard phone to find a good protective case for. I was very skeptical when ordering the 1st one. It is a no frills, very well constructed case. Has 2 layers and very easy to put on and take off. These 2 layers are a plus since I think it makes the case more protective. My grandchildren have dropped my phone several times and a couple of those times it landed face down. I cringed every time, but each time I picked it up, my phone was unscathed. The lovely purple color of this case is subtle and not bright. Buttons are very easy to push and openings are large enough to utilize efficiently. I would definitely recommend this case.

Good inexpensive shell for my iPhone 5c

Bought this as an inexpensive hard shell for my iPhone 5c. Other than the initial awkwardness of putting on the cover (it comes in two pieces that mate in a non obvious manner with two concave surfaces fitting inside each other) the case has been doing duty quite well. It works fine with the charger cable that comes from Apple. However, when I ordered a less expensive charger cable from Amazon, I was not able to fit the cable through the bottom of the case and had to open the phone from the case to charge it with that cable. The problem is that the thickness of the plug from the aftermarket charger was thicker than the Apple plug and the case seems to have been designed only for the Apple cable. At the price I paid, and as long as I have the Apple cable, this will not be a problem.

I received this about a week ago. I chose to wait a few days before writing a review so I could put it through its paces. I have dropped my phone several times (albeit not from any great heights) on to tile surfaces. No problems there. It's also quite comfortable in my hand. My hand does get a little warm holding it but it's not as bad as without a case.

This would've been a 5 star review except for a few things: the ringer switch is hard for me to access (a common complaint I've seen) and I'd also like to see the headphone and Lightning ports covered when not in use.

Overall, though I would definitely recommend this case.

UPDATE: I'm still using this case and still haven't had any problems. When I get a new iPhone later this year, I'll definitely be ordering Luvvitt's case.

This feels soft and is high quality and actually comes in 2 pieces! I really like it for my 5C, the only complaint I have is that the charger hole at the bottom is small...it fits the standard apple charger in just fine, however, my car charger is too wide (different brand than apple) and doesn't fit through the hole. I have to remove the case to charge in the car. Slightly annoying ---wish they made the charger hole bigger. I've dropped my phone probably 30 times on concrete since receiving this and my phone is still in great condition - which is why it still gets 5 stars. That's why I bought it! Oh and I have a three year old always playing games on it - it is toddler proof too!!
