Wow, these new boots SUCK! I bought a new pair to replace a pair that I've had for over 15 years...that pair was made in the USA, the new pair is made in China.

In general, the size of the boot shell seem to be OK, although they are 'smaller' than the old pair so I'm suspicious if they will be as warm as the old pair, but that's not why I'm writing this review. My complaint is that the inner liner is super small and very, very tight on my foot. I measured the liner and compared the size to the pair in my old boots - I bought replacement liners two years ago for them so there should be little to no difference but the reality is that the base of the foot is more than a half inch narrower on the new ones. I didn't measure the circumference of it but you can visually see that they are smaller...I'd guess at least a size or two, even though they are labeled as a 12, they are too short and too narrow.

These are pretty remarkable boots. I wore them for the last part of the Michigan winter and my toes were toasty warm in below zero temps. Warmest boots I ever owned. I wore a different pair of Thinsulate boots for the first part of the winter and my feet were frozen all the time. I do a lot of outdoor work on the farm both outside and inside unheated barns on concrete floors. One important thing to keep in mind. These boots have a pretty beefy liner that takes a little time to adjust and stretch to your feet. The first time I wore them my feel felt a bit cramped from the tight liners...but by the third time I wore them they were very comfortable. I normally wear a wide shoe size (3-4E) and still these boots stretched to fit just fine. Some people complained the boots felt too heavy. While they do feel heavy in the hand, I didn't notice them feeling heavy while wearing them. I suppose if you had to hike several miles in them you might notice the extra weight. But I think the extra weight is what it takes to keep your feet nice and toasty! You won't be disappointed.

These were recommended by a friend so I gave them a try. I have never had a winter boot that has kept my feet warm and I've tried many of the top brands. These are the warmest boots I've ever owned. They are heavy and bulky for walking so don't plan any long hikes. For hunting in cold climate, snowmobiling and ice fishing, they are fantastic!

I bought these boots for my dad, who has problems keeping his feet warm
during hunting and or ice fishing. So far he loves them, and no complaints about
cold feet yet. They seem well put together and very comfortable.

This is the second pair of these boots that I have owned. The first pair I just plain wore them out. I use them snowmobiling and also on a scallop boat in the winter. They have always kept my feet warm even when ice fishing at -20 degrees. The only complaint I have is that the liners are quite tight at first but the boot itself is fine. I'm sure they will be fine after I have worn them awhile.

Great boots so far. I have a problem with always having cold feet, even on warmer days. I wear these in deep snow and my feet stay really warm and dry. I love them. Only downfall is that I look like I have elephantitus, they are biggg boots.

I have had a pair of these for the last 15yrs and are finally starting to fall apart.I will be getting another pair in the next yr. They are the warmest boot I have found You can be sitting out side for hours in below zero temps with warm toes. I would like to be more objective but I have nothing bad to say about these boots.
