I have had a top loading spice drawer for about ten years. While stuck at home cooking in quarantine, I realized how inconvenient it has been to find my spices because the labels were on the sides of the jars and I would have to lift every single jar up to find the one that I needed. I also frequently buy spices that I already have, because I can’t find them.

I received these jars today and love them! They came in sturdy packaging, with cardboard between rack bottle. They fit a full jar of Mckormic or Spice Islands spices. The labels were very good quality. They are rubberized and do not look like they will fade easily with use. They come preprinted with every imaginable type of spice, plus 50 blanks and a chalk marker. Out of all of my spices, I only had to use one blank label. One thing that I found is that you need to screw on the lid before adding the labels onto the lid, otherwise they can come out crooked.

The silver tone lids felt a little cheap (reason for 4 stars) and were sometimes not easy to go on, but all in all, they are ok. The shaker lids fit well, snapped on easily, and did not fell as they would come off with use. The funnel is good quality and will be used for other things in my kitchen.

We will see how they last, but so far, I am loving them!!!! They make my spice drawer look so organized that I am excited to open it now!

I often buy bulk spices to be a little more environmentally conscious so I ordered this set. I received the spice jars and was super excited, but when I started filling the jars I realized I had some duplicate pages of labels and was missing quite a few pages as well. I had hoped to contact the seller to have the missing pages sent, but unfortunately couldn't reach them. I've scheduled a replacement and if the next order isn't right I'll just return them all and go with another seller.

Pros:
- Beautiful
- very durable
- dishwasher safe (I hand washed the lids to avoid rusting)
- Minimal single use plastic packaging

Cons:
- Multiple reviews show inconsistencies with people getting their whole order
- Most people are going to wash/sanitize the jars before they fill them. The jars come pre-assembled which means you have to spend quite a bit of time taking all the lids off and the plastic strainer piece. It would be better if the jars came unassembled.

Solid jars. Labels are great, every possible spice/herb you could think of...and then some. My issue is this...I prefer to pour spices/herbs. I always remove the plastic piece with holes for sprinkling. Anyhow, when I remove the tops, spices have always escaped into the outside grooves of the jar. It's a bit messy. I have no idea if keeping the plastic sprinkle tops makes any difference. I'm certainly not going to put those on...but I would think if the spices can get out of the bottle through those holes...they would still work their way to the outside grooves of the jars. I'll survive.

Check out my photo of them in my spice organizer thingy. They fit right in. In theory I could stand to have like a 4.2oz version, but that would be a weird thing to sell. Compare with the saffron: they're slightly more stout than many standard spice bottles. But compare with the spice supreme jars: they're shorter than common jars that are just too large.

check out that photo of an unlabeled jar with water. the claimed capacity of 4oz is dead-on accurate. They hold 4floz. not 4.1, but 4. I hope it shows in that photo, but that 4oz is about right up to the rim.

Feel free to throw those "shaker inner lids" straight in the garbage, unless you're into that sort of thing. They have a cool swinging bit for pouring, e.g., into a measuring spoon. But that's apparently the cornerstone of the thing, once you hold that up (and you will have to, it YEARNS to shut) the grip it has on the glass is dramatically worse. Which is, fortunately, not an issue because these come with a surprisingly adequate funnel.

Airtightness is terrible. I tested by submerging a few of them under water for roughly a week. They let a visible amount of water in, and because the air inside them was leaking out, the caps rusted.

So far there isn’t much to dislike about these jars. The only thing I didn’t like was you could see on some of the jars that they had rubbed together with other glass jars. That’s really my only complaint. They came shipping in wonderful heavy duty packaging which was inside of another amazon box (not sure if that’s standard or just because I bought multiple items). Out of 36 jars not a single one was broken.

I’m glad the holes are as big as the are (I would’ve been okay even having them a little bigger). The stickers were very easy to use and easy to peel up if you made a mistake. Marker is a little lacking, but not not bad in any sense.

As other reviews have mentioned my lids did arrive with some scuffs, but no dents or anything that would effect the functionality. All jars arrived in tact with shaker, and lids. My only complaint is that I wish there were more blank labels or more spice varieties, there were a lot for spices that I was unfamiliar with, but a few that I would consider to be fairly common that didn't have any.

I would have liked double the quantity of blank labels and a chalk pen included. The labels are a little larger than the flat part of jars so edges of labels may not stick well on the corners unless the are placed perfectly centered. It would be great if seller offered extra jars or labels for sale separately. Also would like a couple larger sizes for sale in smaller quantities.
