Product description
After a long journey, Dusk Witch Dronya and her young apprentice, Luca, arrive in the far-off town of Refrain. Masquerading as a simple traveling puppet show, Dronya's true goal lies at the town's center: the Well of Khalaza. It is said that this well leads to a sprawling labyrinth deep beneath the town that is filled with wondrous treasures...as well as vicious monsters, deadly traps, and a thick, poisonous fog. None who have entered the well have ever returned...with one exception. The one man to have successfully explored the labyrinth and come back alive wrote his findings in a book called the Tractatus de Monstrum. Now in possession of this very same book, Dronya seeks to use its knowledge and her brigade of enchanted puppet soldiers to conquer the labyrinth for herself...but to what end? What mysteries does the labyrinth hold? What dark secrets lie in the shadows of Refrain?

pros- Funny story
- Little twists on the old formula
- system makes you want to make new fighters ( and you will need to!)
Cons- Take a bit to unlock some features like unsealing "identifying items" so you will have a lot of junk sealed items by the time u get it.
All and all a great game sent over to us, thanks Nis america!
* note: there is swearing and adult themed humor so not for little little kids!
I might try playing past that part in the game, but honestly I don't want to see if it gets worse (narrative). I'm hoping that I am being clear enough, while sticking to the Amazon code of conduct.
The story is as dark as others say, at least in its first half—I found it surprisingly mean-spirited compared to the more humorous, sarcastic stories of the Disgaea games. Eventually the story takes a sentimental turn that's largely earned, though it takes a while to get there and some will abandon the game before then.
Mechanically there are a lot of systems to master that are too much work to describe here—the most important thing is that instead of a party of five or six characters, you'll effectively be maintaining at least a dozen (I had 13 in my main party, with 9 backups). This leads to a lot of micromanagement in the late game (reincarnating characters to bump them back to level 1 but with better stats; combining items via "synthesis" to make them stronger, etc.). Disgaea has a lot of systems, too, but if you're a casual player you can generally ignore at least some of them—here, you have to have a decent mastery of them all if you want a chance against the game's bosses.
Maps give the player a lot of freedom—for example, in many walls can be broken down, spending a renewable resource in order to do so—but there are some occasional design decisions that feel unfair. (E.g.: some maps have pits, and falling down them incurs damage but also introduces you to a new area, except for one late-game map where falling into a pit turns out to be a total party kill.) There is no shame in using a guide for the late game, if only to locate grinding spots and the items that'll help you fight the story's final boss, and you will almost certainly need one in order to access the postgame and its "true ending." That said, I opted for the normal ending after 86 hours of play and found it plenty satisfying--it's doubtful I'll return to the postgame, when there's so much else to play.
This is fine at its current price of $20-$25 on the Switch, though if you are looking for a dungeon crawler on the Switch and you haven't played Mary Skelter 2, I suggest going for that first. Four stars rounded up from 3.5—7 out of 10 is right for this.

Story line is interesting, and I can see they have put a lot of thoughts into game-plays too: that it is not overly complicated, but not shallow either.
There is some Adult theme to this game, so not for younger gamer - but if you are an adult who enjoy Anime, dungeon crawler, and some challenging but fun game play, this is an excellent edition to your Switch game library.
