Still I respect most authors efforts, I probably would have given it a 4 star, but hero is often described as doing ANYTHING for the love of his Amelia, yet when push comes to shove, his love seems cheap. Example: Amelia runs away to the country somewhere and he is "desperate" to find her, and yet will not venture to far to search for her. Or when they are about to marry and he ponders to himself how he would give "HALF" of his fortune to have her, (not "ALL"?).
Hero bordered on week, heroine bordered on high-maintenance. Secondary characters Bibi and Norwick seemed deeper, more complicated and interesting, yet their story is not given it's due.
kind of dissapointed because it had potential. Sorry but would not reccommend it.
I kept reading just for the switch back to Bianca and Jasper.
And the entire journey to New Orleans to track down Amelia's husband who might not be dead after all seemed like a plot device just to set up the sequel / next novel in the series. So completely unsatisfying and actually irksome by introducing yet another love triangle but with an unhappy ending.

Storyline is not engaging. Not as good as her other books. Love scene is drawn out. Attempt at humor fails.Published on April 20, 2014 by Crys

It is a rather dull book and half of it was very, very boring. It's a wonder I finished it. The hero seems to have 2 different personalities. Read morePublished on March 22, 2013 by Sofia Lazaridou
i was very disappointed with amelia. She was portrayed to be a selfish, immature, spoiled brat. the character, jake, was a

I purchased this by mistake and decided to read it anyway, but it was too graphic for me. It probably has a good story line
if I could have gotten past the sexual content.
