Again Kathryn Le Veque is GREAT!!!!
Rhodes de Leybourne, has returned home to see his ill father. Rhodes' liege is de Russe and he really wants to return quickly. Unfortunately, his father is going to continue to pester him about marrying for a beneficial alliance through an old betrothal agreement. Unfortunately, for his father, Rhodes is not having any of it. Rhodes is a tremendous knight with exceptional skills and has other adventures to pursue, not an aged old betrothal agreement.
These two characters will have an intense battle of wills. A battle that will test who is stronger in all aspects...even a test of their own hearts. It was a wonderful story. It has me now intrigued about her brother, the Pirate.
When Samarra and our Hero, Sir Rhodes de Leybourne, cross paths...well, the sparks really begin to fly, and this clash of wills is something to behold! Sir Rhodes is a law unto himself. He wants to blaze his own trail, and make his own decisions. Especially when it comes to choosing a wife. He is bound and determined not to marry the woman of his Father's choosing. Sir Rhodes will find his own wife, thank you very much!
His Father, however, has other ideas....
The evolution of Samarra and Sir Rhodes de Leybourne's romance is beautiful, and captivating. Fans of the medieval genre are sure to love this fast-paced, emotional read. Kathryn Le Veque has created a memorable, breathtaking adventure with LADY OF THE MOON! Don't miss it!
This is an extended version of the story of the lady of the moon by Ms. Kathryn Le Veque. As I said in that review I wanted the story to be a longer and Ms. Le Veque sure doesn’t disappoint me adding a little bit to heighten the story and gives us more into the insight of both characters plus some minor characters as well. I really just enjoy the way Ms. Le Veque tells a story no matter the length. Still the story doesn’t lose its steam and is crafted beautifully with a well done cover I am most happy with this version than the previous one but both are just wonderful.
Rhodes is a typical knight handsome headstrong and brave. He is everything that is worthy of being a knight and more yes he might seem young and impetuous which in a sense he is plus is a little bit of his downfall but still it is hard not to fall for him. I can understand Samarra’s interest and attraction to him because I had the same thing for him too. I seriously loved Samarra strong beautiful a woman warrior which I totally just loved. I wouldn’t mind getting together with her even though she would probably kick my butt but still she is just a great heroine maybe I’ll just stand back and watch her. I did like the little bit about Samarra’s brother and hope in his book she is mentioned too. I do look forward to that book though and anymore that Ms. Le Veque writes.
