***edited review 10/25/24. The Company reached out to me after I submitted my original review of the blue bag and provided a full refund. I believe they are an excellent company. (I had also purchased Lakanto’s red bag of granulated monk/erythritol and it tastes sweet like regular sugar.) I hope they will try to reformulate the powdered version to make it taste sweet.
Original Review: This review is for the Powdered Lakanto (light blue bag). The good: no aftertaste, not bitter. The bad: not sweet. I feel I wasted my money.

I get really upset with all the unethical, incompetent researchers out there. The studies that suggested that erythritol (and hence this product) is dangerous have been utterly debunked. These so-called 'scientists' are wanting attention, funding and to be published. Please read the analyses and papers that show these findings to be utter garbage. The same supposed scientists have also just published a paper to launch a similar attack on xylitol, and it uses the same flawed arguments and has similar errors as the one attacking erythritol.
This Lakanto product is safe and has FDA approval and tastes really, really great. The texture is also superior. We've been buying it for years and our family's cardio-vascular systems have been tested thoroughly and we are in perfect shape.
Trying this product is how I learned I'm sensitive to sugar alcohols! Very uncomfortable side effects after consumption. I agree with everyone that it tastes great and is a great substitute for brown sugar, but only if you aren't sensitive to sugar alcohols. Trust me, you'll know if you are soon after trying it!

i’ve been using this product for years, but I can’t always get it in the supermarket or I forget to purchase it so buying it from Amazon has made it easy. I live the taste; sweet with no chemical aftertaste. I primarily use it for my coffee, but will also toss it in lieu of sugar for baking or to add a bit of sweetness to any recipe that calls for sugar.

Cheaper to buy it here than in the store. Taste is great.it does not have the chemical taste you get in the artificial sugars they make. I’m still losing weight . Can cook with it just like real sugar. . Will buy again .

I was shocked at how much I liked this. I’ve been doing keto for almost 4 months now and I don’t even miss sugar using this monk fruit sweetener. It seriously tastes delicious.
me gusta el sabor, es casi igual al de el azúcar, lo combino 50% con azúcar mascabado así me rinde más. Me ha ayudado mucho para control de peso ya que el café y los licuados de frutas me gustan dulces
Yes, it’s expensive. Most clean food is these days. BUT if you’re doing a no-sugar, anti-inflammatory diet, or diabetic, or just cutting down on sugar, it’s a natural sweetener that does not affect blood sugar negatively and it really helped me through a period in which I had to cut out all sugars in my diet (I was working with a naturopath to heal digestive issues in my gut). It’s SLIGHTLY less sweet in ratio than regular sugar, but it’s pretty close to 1:1. Very worth it for me. I like the golden one because it has more of a maple-y/brown sugar taste.

Sabe casi igual al azúcar blanca, estoy encantada, buen sabor y cero calorías, me la recomedó la especialista en nutrición ya que la Stevia me sabe amarga y el Canderel me sabe muy mal,
