I thoroughly enjoyed the read on something so lost and forgotten in Western culture: a strong sense of community through the ups and inevitable downs of life. The book challenges the reader to ask him- or herself, "Am I where I need to be? Am I considerate enough of my neighbors around me?" I finished reading feeling the needs to reassess my life and to study the Bible more deeply and with a fresh perspective.
