I love it when a simple product like this one makes my life so much better. This inexpensive stand looks pretty and is perfect for holding my phone so I can see it without having to pick it up. I have one on my desk and one on my nightstand. Some other reviewers have said they wished they could change the angle of the tilt, but I haven't found a need for that - the angle seems just fine for me.
My only real complaint is that plugging in the phone is a little tricky. Since the piece that plugs in isn't very flexible, what happens is that the cord is bent at a pretty severe angle while plugged in and resting in the stand. I try to give the cord enough slack so that it's not pulled too tightly, but it almost works better if you don't thread the cord through the hole in the back, as pictured, but just plug it in from the front or side. That doesn't fix the cord clutter issue as well, but it might make your cord last longer. The design could be improved by having the entire phone holder section a little higher from the surface, so there's more space for the plug and cord. This isn't a problem at all if the phone is not plugged in while resting in the stand.

We purchased 2 of the black metal phone stands. It works well with our iPhone 8 plus that has an Otterbox Defender case on both. It comes with 4 soft small round pads for the bottom of the stand so it will not scratch what ever surface it is siting on, although I doesn't look like it will scratch any surface even without having the little feet pads. This also comes with extra feet pads along with extra rubber pad that sits behind the phone so it will not slide off the stand. You can use this for your iPhone vertically or horizontally, both directions work well with this stand. I like the fact I can have the phone plugged in while it is on the stand with no issues with the cord. For the price this stand is well worth the money spent.

I’ve had this in my wish list and finally decided to purchase. I’m so glad I finally did. I was most surprised by the fact it is made of metal and not plastic. It is sturdy and keeps my phone in easy reach on my desk at work. I love the cord cutout that allows you to charge with the phone in an upright position. With my old stand I would have to charge with the phone on it’s side. If you listen to music while you work this is a functional and attractive addition to use. Love it

This is such a versatile stand. I have it on top of my vanity table. Where I spend most of the time. Love how I can see the screen clearly and if it needs charging no need to move it there's a place for it. And keeps the cable out of the way. And it fits either vertical or horizontal. The rubber feet keeps it in place. It also keeps the device from slipping.

I like my cable to stay attached to the stand, so I don't have to go looking for it. I stuck a cable clip to the stand's base and it works well.
Bought it for my 6s+ but It's sturdy enough to hold the ipad Mini with case / magnetic cover folded over the back. Highly recommended, I may pick up an other one for the office.

Really great stand! Fast shipping, great, sleek product and amazing price. The stand is a lovely matte silver metal with rubber protective feet and grippers for the phone. Nothing is going to slip or scratch. The company even sends a set of replacement grips and two new feet just in case! My iphone 6s+ just sits beautifully in it. The cord goes through the hole in the back and plugs right into my phone. I even don't have to take my phone out of it's protective wallet! The wristlet I bought for the phone to make it into a wallet type thing isn't a thin, tiny cover, but it still fits in the stand without issue. I'm stunned and thrilled. My phone looks even cooler, much like a piece of art siting in the stand with it's multicolored cover on.
