Sort of ugly, but functionally brilliant

The concept of this table is fantastic, it works as it should, and comfortably seats 4. Two can sit on each side, but no more given that the legs bisect the sides. No one can sit at the short end due to the leg and no overhang of the top there. But, the four people will have plenty of room for their place setting and a few condiments, water pitcher, or other items sharing the table with them. It is sturdy enough and easy to assemble and change the top configuration as needed. I have to say that it is not attractive enough to leave out in view all the time as a sofa table unless you have a dorm-room decor. It looks exactly like what it is - an inexpensive metal and laminate folding table.

Imperfections table top

Although I really like the looks of the table and because my area for dining is relatively small, the fact that it can be folded and pushed up against the wall is ideal. However, to say there is "no assembly" is not quite correct....in my case I had a handyman put it together and when he got to the center leg, the screw that came with the table did not fit....and the end of the leg's opening was not completely open....I had to drive him to a hardware store to buy a file, so it took much longer to get the table up than I expected. Also, the top has several smudges and streaks.....but considering I needed the table for a dinner several days after receiving it, I have no choice but to live with the smudges.....so yes, the table top is smooth, but the marks on it on there to stay.....and I will not exchange it considering what it took to put it together.....the table suits my needs, and from the pictures I attached, I do think it looks quite cute.....only good for 4 people, place mats, dishes and glasses....not a whole lot of extra room....we had to eat "buffet style".....

Horrible packaging, not worth the price.

Its a decent table, except for the fact that it now has a hole in it thanks to whoever packaged it. I bought it for my studio apartment and its an okay fit. However, it's not very stable and it looks meh. Also, the parts weren't together in the package, and I had to hunt for them (one was literally lodged in the product and left a hole). Assembly wasn't hard, but rather annoying. If I could do it over again, I would've gone to Walmart. This table isn't worth the price.

I am correcting my review after my initial response because, initially, the table looked very dark. I thought it was black. Instead, it is CLOSE TO BLACK. It is so dark and similar in hue to the black metal legs, that I was mistaken. You have to really scrutinize it to tell the difference. However, I have slept on this during the night, and I am fine with it this morning.

It's perfect for the space I have it in. My only problem with it was putting it together. You have to bear weight on the larger legs (in the area where the screws attach to the underside of the table top) or you will not make contact, in order to connect them. (Those two screws are shorter).

Incorrectly manufactured

We were really hoping for this piece of furniture to work in our home, however, one of the slide in legs was incorrectly manufactured and would not slide into place (it was metal, so we couldn't sand it down ourselves). We were unable to get a replacement part, so we had to return the entire item. I just hope it was not simply repackaged and sold to someone else.

Garbage product

Product comes with little installation, the two folding legs across the middle and for some moronic reason some leg extensions for the legs that don't fold.

Guess what there's literally no reason besides packaging that these leg extensions are a thing but even worse one doesn't fit. Rubber mallet can't get the leg extension in and the pre installed rubber stopper for the folding legs ripped out in first three hours.

Honestly this is a garbage table with cheap garbage components and I will be expecting my money back.

Nice table but could be abit cheaper

PACKAGING:
I saw reviews complaining about the table being damaged, but I think the seller have changed the packaging or something because it is super secure. The whole table is wrapped in a really thick styrofoam, and the individual parts are all wrapped with cushions as well. Nothing was damaged for my item, and I'm very happy about it.

SETTING UP:
The instructions are rather straight forward, I set it up alone. However, the legs are not manufactured to be fitted exactly into the slot. You need to apply alot of pressure to push the legs all the way in, but it's totally possible. Just keep trying.

TABLE:
1 of the leg is abit shorter than the rest for some reason, but it's not too big of a deal as the screw-in leg pads can be adjusted to compensate for any unbalanced leg. When opened, the table is pretty sturdy. The table is actually quite heavy so you'll know that the support is robust. When completely closed, it will NOT stand on its own as the center of gravity is too high to keep balance. I just lean it against my wall and hope it doesn't fall.
