thankfully, amazon was able to make it right, after i spoke to a human. thank you amazon!
otherwise, the unit is just alright. it looks pretty good overall. the light goes on only after you push a button and it goes off after a certain period, so most of the time the fridge will be dark and not as cool-looking as i hoped. the shelves have no sides and tip downward when pulled out, so i foresee many dropped bottles and cans. it is quiet though, which i like.
had it come in better condition, i would've been reasonably pleased but not in love with it. arriving as it did, and given the lack of customer service from lanbo, i can't really recommend this product.

the unit arrived badlydamaged; the corner is bashed in, the sides are dinged up, and the back grill was detached. all attempts to contact lanbo (the manufacturer) failed...email was bounced back, their contact form on the website failed to submit, and phone calls go to a generic voicemail. i don't know how legit a company it is at this point.By J. Installed it looks nice but some of the cons are you cannot store glass beer bottles in it, the shelves do not adjust to accommodate them. Also the lock is somewhat of a joke first when engaged you can still open the door about an inch so it does ensure the door stays shut. Secondly if my kids (4&6) try to open it they could easily pull the door open with the lock engaged.
The rubber (magnetic?) gasket could be better too. If you are not paying attention when you close the door it does not grab well and bounces right back open. Out of habit I began checking the fridge regularly to make sure it was closed because the slightest things could make the door pop open (even with the lock in use it could be open slightly). It would be have been a great idea if the light came on when the door was opened as well instead of having to press a button that you cannot see in the dark. Not even the buttons are backlit.
PROS:
The one thing I did not notice was the machine running, to me it was pretty quiet. After seeing other reviews that complained about noise I was expecting it to be much louder.
It looks nice.
If they choose to repair it I will update my review.

I first purchased this beverage cooler in September 2019 it arrived badly damaged and not working. I received a replacement in February 2020 in much better condition. Now it is June 2021 and its barely cooling. I have it set at 39 and it struggles to stay at 60. I noticed in May the temperature was fluctuating. I contacted warrant and say they will not cover it because it was replaced once already. It seems to me for the cost of this unit it should last more than a year.By Adam Slansky on June 15, 2021
