Editorial Reviews

Review

"The reader will find [Drucker's] description of the economic analysis of growth currently confined largely to technical journals and monographs particularly lucid and his observations on the present-day ineffectualness of political thinking are harsh but just . . . a wise and challenging but never an alarming book."

—Louis M. Hacker, The New York Times Book Review

"Drucker is a brilliant and provocative thinker one who refuses to be bound by standard assumptions, and sheds light . . . on many major issues. His writing is salted with wit and pervaded with a basic morality."

—Leo Teplow, Management Review
