At first, I was hesitant to spend so much money on what essentially looks like pink vaseline. But after using it for a few weeks, I really have noticed a difference in my lips. I love it so much that I use it during the day too, the shine lasts for a long time and feels so good on! Keeps my lips moisturized all night, and when I wake up, it's still on.

I absolutely LOVE this product and honestly don't know what I would do without it. I have always had severely dry and cracked lips to the point where they peel and bleed. It is SO embarrassing and it really took a toll on my self-esteem. I work in sales and am constantly face to face with people and I could see them staring at my lips. Some people would even ask me , "Oh my gosh, what happened to your lip?" I tried chapstick, lip gloss, lip balm, carmex, aquaphor, blistex, lipstick, nothing worked and I was re-applying all day long.
Finally, I did some research online and found the Lip Sleeping Mask. I ordered it and got it the next day and after the first night, I woke up to a massive improvement. I followed the instructions and slathered it on my lips before bed and even put it a little outside my lips too (it feels like a lot, but trust me it works). After the third night my lips were completely healed and I could not have been more happy!!! Finally, I don't have to be insecure about my gross chapped lips, I can actually wear lip stick now and it doesn't look dry and cracked and I can kiss my boyfriend and feel confident.
I can't say enough about this product, it really changed my life. I put on a thing layer in the morning now and it stays on ALL day and I continue to use it every night. In fact, now my boyfriend is hooked and uses it at night too. So pleased that I'm going to try the other products in this line. Thank you Laneige!!!

This little tub of product is going to last for a very long time. The directions say to apply liberally, but a little goes a long way. When I first get into bed, I have to be careful not to get this on the sheets. It's very thick and sticky. I'm a major ChapStick brand addict, but find that if I apply a regular balm before bed it does not last until the morning. I wake up with super dry lips. This lasts all night long. When I wake up, the product is fully absorbed, but I can feel that it is still there keeping my lips moisturized. The smell of this sleeping mask is pleasant, like sweet berries. It comes with a little spatula applicator to keep it hygienic, which is nice. Also, the ingredients list for this product is impressive. I will repurchase someday when I finally run out (I've been using this nightly for three months and have barely made a dent).

Wanted to love it considering so many good reviews. Applied a couple of nights. However, my lips seem to feel even more dry in the morning.

Not impressed at all. My lips were only moderately dry and this was no different than using a lip gloss. No extra moisture other than the initial glide on. I put it on thin and then thick. No results whatsoever. I do not understand the raves.

I didn't quite understand the purpose of a lip mask. I figured just putting some lip balm on the night before would serve the same purpose. I usually had slightly peeling lips so I believed it was the norm. My husband on the other hand almost always have dry, chapped, flaky lips. I only purchased this due to the exceptionally dryer/hotter weather in LA which was wreaking havoc on my skin and mouth. Okay I've now been using this for a few months and it has made a major difference. My lips are no longer dry or peel, same with my husband. What was once a familiar sight of 3D lip shards protruding from his mouth has now been replaced with smooth skin. I can't recommend this enough.

Someone recently recommended this for me, so I decided to buy it. Its not terrible, but disappointing. I was expecting it to make my lips pillow soft, but it works the same as just about any lip balm. Honestly, I get better results from Vaseline.

This product does not work for me. I've used it for a week and if anything my lips are drier. This is the first time that I've bought such a highly rated item and have not liked it
... was not expecting much when I bought this as pretty much every product I use for my lips doesn't ...

I really was not expecting much when I bought this as pretty much every product I use for my lips doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Even after just a week of using this at night I can notice its effectiveness. If I don't continually have a product on my lips they will dry up and become hard. They are also constantly peeling. This product has definitely helped reduce those problems. Although it has a goopy feel to it, it has staying power on my lips through the night. I'll wake up, and instead of my usual hard peeling lips, they'll be soft. It comes with a spatula to scoop out the product and apply, and although it's not a problem for applying at night, I do wish it also came in a tube form for easy use during the day. When I first used this, there was an instant feeling of nostalgia with the smell and taste. Whatever ingredient they use for that, It reminds me of a product I used as a kid but I can't put my finger on what it was. Needless to say I find it pleasant.
