When a friend bought these for me as a gift at my baby shower I was a little creeped out. I thought to myself, "What kind of a person gives someone tit stickers as a present? Gross. She's probably just jellie because my boobs are so amazing looking right now." I shoved them into a dark corner of the closet in my freshly painted nursery along with all the other weird crap people give a mommy to be and promptly forgot about them.
Three months the later I found myself crying along with my newborn as I stood in front of the open door of the freezer completely topless. For the past half hour I had been reaching in and grabbing random groceries to stick on my boobs. Popsicles, frozen peas, crockpot freezer meals I had found on Pinterest that all tasted like butt...you name it. The floor was cluttered with rejected frozen items and I just stood there red-eyed with snot dripping from my nose and falling down onto my hellishly painful breasts. All self-respect was lost.
At that moment it occurred to me that I was desperate enough to try anything and I had a package of creepy tit stickers in the back of the closet upstairs. I carefully held onto my girls and winced my way up the stairs, eventually crawling my way along on all fours until I reached the closet door. With shaking hands I lifted the package of gel soothes to my face and chewed through the package to reveal two strange circular tit stickers. I took a deep breath and peeled one off. With eyes squeezed shut I blindly brought it to my chest and secured it in place. Instant relief. Tears of joy fell from my eyes. I could hear Lionel Richie singing Hello with a thousand angels singing background vocals. It was an experience that far surpassed my usual Almanzo Wilder offering me a drink from the well wearing nothing but overalls fantasy. It was amazing.
This time around, I made sure to buy Lansing Gel Soothes long before my baby's arrival. And, you better believe I bought the two pack.

My second week into breastfeeding, I was in SO MUCH PAIN! Terrible, cry out loud pain. It was almost torture to feed my son. But it was so important to me, so I went and bought everything imaginable to fix it. These were all I needed. If you are planning to breastfeed, BUY THESE! Have them in your house before you even bring home your baby. You'll be glad you did. A few days with these and I was fine.

Let me start by saying that these DO work. They made my sore nipples feel much, much better after a very short amount of time. Unfortunately, the bad here does not outweigh the good, and two stars is the most I can give.

These gel pads are absorbent, so when your breasts leak, the pad soaks it up. That sounds like a good feature, but it isn't. If the pads lasted the 72 hours advertised, you'd be sitting around with three day old breast milk pressed right against your nipple. Do the math... warm, damp place, sweet liquid, place from where your baby eats... it's really not a good combination. It just felt gross to me. It felt unsanitary, squishy and unpleasant.

The pads didn't last three days. They lasted about a day before they were so saturated with leaked breast milk that they had to be thrown out. I don't have awesome super boobs either... I leak a normal amount of milk. The instructions say that you can rinse the pads, but you can't. They're absorbent! Rinsing them only makes them even more filled with liquid, rendering them completely useless.

If these were priced better, say a dollar a pair, the 24 hour life of them would be just fine. As it is now, they're around $8.00 for one day, and $240 for one a day for the first month, and that's just not something many people can reasonably justify. I do not recommend these.

Note to new moms: It gets better. The pain doesn't last forever! After a few weeks, you won't have to worry about it very often anymore. Good luck!

I love this product, the fabric backing is great and it feels amazing once refrigerated
Be warned though, this posting can be a little deceiving. I believed I was getting 2 boxes of 2 soothies, therefore 4 individual gels.
But you only get 1 box of 2 gels. Just to be aware, the picture is misleading.

I honestly didn't really see a difference from using these. I had a tongue tied baby and had so much pain nursing my son for 4 months. The first two months were excruciating, my nipples were bleeding, cracked, and red. I bought these at the recommendation of the lactation specialist who confirmed my suspicion that my baby was tongue-tied. What helped me most was rinsing my nipples with warm salt water and then letting my nipples air dry after each feeds. I would recommend desperate moms to definitely try these because they may work for you, but also try the warm salt rinse and soak as well as air drying. Hope that helps!

nipple saver for sure. So thankful I bought these. I leave them in the refrigerator. I wear them everywhere but I do not leak. I recommend these for all nursing mommas. I don't use them much now bc my nipples aren't sore but I wouldn't be nursing now if I didn't have these I. the beginning. I am 3 months into nursing for first child.

These saved me the first few weeks postpartum. The only bad thing is that you need to wash your breast before putting baby to latch after using these, but for the relief they brought, they were totally worth every penny.
