This is a very durable well made hat but it's very hot. I just got back from vacation. It was fine in Amsterdam (cooler) but in Spain I couldn't wear it as it made my head just too hot. It is very durable and kept its shape even after I threw it in my day pack.I loved the white color as it went with everything. I have a smaller size head and the inside strap was easy to adjust to fit. It also comes with a removable chin strap which is handy on windy days.

Great looking hat at a reasonable price! It rolls up without losing its shape, is lightweight, and comfortable to wear. The color is true to the picture.

I have two complaints. First is the band to adjust the fit. It works fine, but the casing for the strap is made of such flimsy fabric that it tore as soon as I tried pulling on the strap to adjust it. Fortunately, it was on the bottom seam and easy to stitch up, but not ideal. Second is the chin strap. The hooks to attach it to the hat are rigid plastic. You can't push on them hard enough to open them without breaking them. After many frustrating attempts to attach the strap to the tiny elastic hoops on the hat, I gave up. I'll stop by the craft store and get a couple of decent hooks to replace the ones on there.

Aside from those two issues, it's a nice, comfortable hat, which I look forward to wearing when we travel.
